Hey all...I just started running a 3 box set up currently on my 24" monitor using Vista ultimate 64 bit. Everything is going well except for the windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. I went to properties and clicked auto hide taskbar but this doesn't keep the taskbar from popping up constantly during the game. It only goes away after I have clicked the flashing windows but when I mouse over to different screens it pops up again. Obviously its annoying and messes with my game play so I'm wondering if anyone knows how to hide the taskbar permanently until I'm ready to use it again. I'm sure there are other vista 64 bit boxers out there so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It will keep popping up since that's what they made it for. Instead, consider moving the bar to the side of the screen, or to the top, and just have it always visible.

I'm sorry I don't have a better sollution, but it's an easy fix this way.... I got the taskbar on the left, and when playing WoW I'm to focused to even notice it ;)

I'm not sure if this option is available in Vista, but I suspect that it is. In Windows XP/2000/NT (and every other version of Windows that I have used), right click on the taskbar and bring up the properties. Uncheck the option "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows." This should eliminate the problem with the taskbar popping up when you move down to the edge of the screen. With this option unchecked you do not even need to use the "Auto-hide the taskbar" option.
