Trouble in Deepholm

Just moved to the new area at 82.5. Having alot of trouble killing things. I play solo as a boomkin and those bug things are teribad. I can pull out all the cooldowns and live but if two aggro, I am bird stew. Might I be better off respec'ing Feral for now? I know I can activate my hunter and raise him from 80 to help out but in the short term, I need advise.

Not sure if you are talking about the Scytheclaw guys or the gyreworms when you say bugs in deepholm. If its the scytheclaws you can move out of their multipunch since they channel that move and wont chase you while they are slashing away. Barkskin or natures grasp so that they are rooted and dont put dot's on the 2nd mob until the first is dead. Or travel form to get away then turn and root them.
If its the gyreworms you can easily aggro a ton of them in the tunnels. just kitty sprint/travel form away or pop cooldowns and starfall/treants/hurricane them down.

Humm. I leveled my Druid as moonkin and I dont recall having any issues in Deepholme. She is still there because I just log in a bit and blast down the troggs to the East/NorthEast for free xp as they fight the stone dwarfs.

She was pretty squishy at first when I did Hyjal and I think I did die a couple of times in deepholme when I got overrun. Seems like maybe having to pre-hot, fight, then hot again while going to the next mob fixed most of that till you hit the 80k hp range.

I solo'd my first toon to 85 was my boomkin. Didn't have any trouble until i hit 85 and went to Tol Barad. I've died more doing dailies in TB than anything else ever.. I swear that place sucks for boomkins.. However we do have plenty of tools at our disposal if things go wrong and don't be afraid to run if it becomes too much..

I just finished solo leveling a feral through deepholm and had no problems, leveled to 80 as boomkin but he was part of a mixed team. now I love playing feral. its great to be able to swap into bear and survive most of what you grab by mistake :)

It is a huge difference playing with a DK. No trouble killing anything there, except for Horde. Can't call it ganking as they are the same level and it is a PvP server. I am just bad at PvP. Have not been back on the Boomkin yet, but I found a couple other things I was doing wrong which should help, along with your tips will make it through
