So I was leveling my Druid in Hellfire a few days ago, when I got hit by 5 or 6 mobs, I was trying to run away but there where too many. I just knew I was dead, then all of a sudden I hear a loud thunder crackling sound and the mobs that were beating on me all dropped to the ground. I turned around to thank my savior and then I saw 5 beautiful Draenei Shamans smiling at me, they moved in such unison and grace. I thanked them and they all blew me a kiss and danced around me, all 5 where elemental and wearing the same gear. I immediately jumped on my Alliance character to talk to them, they told me about this site. So here I am, after 5hrs of reading and learning what to do so far, I think I will try this out.
I think I will start off small with just 3 characters on 1 pc until I build my other 2, I wonder why people choose shamans the most for this? Oh well glad to be here and hope to learn from you guys.
/cheers!!!

I wonder why people choose shamans the most for this?
Short version:
1) it's easier to stack PVP defense and utility on shamans than on any other class
2) it's easier to stack defense early on than it is to stack offense
3) defense utility isn't mitigated by resists, resilience or racial abilities
For more info on the why's and wherefore's of shammies in PVP, look for the shaman arena threads. They talked about that quite a bit.
Welcome to the dark side. :) We get everyone in the end.

I'm gonna go with 3 Female Draenei shamans, I have 5 horde 70 already that I leveled each to 70. Want to see how the Alliance side works. :) Gonna make 3rd account when I get off work and download the keyclone and hope all works out.

Sounds great and real nice that you came here through another player :)
I often wonder what people think when I run in and save them from certain death, nobody thanks Monk :(

I save some on both sides (Ally and Horde). Usually they're happy that they're alive, so I heal them then buffed 'em. A smaller percentage just leave without a peep. ?( I don't save those people again.

I've been on both sides. And I think it's mainly a pride thing, you didn't ask for help, and weren't really looking for it. If you died, oh well, you probably learned a lesson or limitation. Help also can drop xp, and that matters to some. And on the other hand, I'd like to 'thank' those that just watched me die, thank them thoroughly. I've also helped people and received no acknowledgement. But while it irks me a bit, I gave the help of my own free will, and really it's what I've come to expect in wow, if not the net as a whole.
