This movie is not in the same ballpark as LOTR.

It is purely a depressing story with crappy acting and good CG.

I'll agree with most of this. Nice redux on the songs for the movie. Gotta grab this soundtrack. Storyline coulda been a little better, I actually got lost a couple times, but caught up pretty fast, made total sense by the end. Nice to see these girls all grown up now, woulda loved to see the actual dances, but who knows what the dvd extras will hold later. I'll agree with Sam on that one liner, I chuckled a bit there :D By no means in the same ballpark as LotR, sorry. To me it's more like 'Girl Interrupted meets real life Japanime cartoons minus the nudity." Coming from the writers/directors who made this, I was actually expecting a little of it in this to be honest, till I read the info on imdb.com. Good combo, badass fight scenes and definitely a movie worth watchin again IMO.
