Flight master nightmares! Stupid problem gettin on the bats

Sometimes when I put my crew on a FP, a toon fails to get on to the mount. Most of the time I can fix this by pressing escape and re-targeting the flight master, but sometimes I have to run 50 yards in order to make it work oO

What happens is that the window opens and I can see where I can fly, but when I click on a location nothing happens. It's very random, and VERY irritating. It happend too all of my toons already and twice to my main... Lol when all 5 get in the mount straight a way I feel like I just cleared an entire instace ... happy...

Does anyone know about this problem ? Is there a way to fix i ? Last night 2 toons couldn't get up the mount, pure waste of time :(

Btw, didn't contact a GM yet since it seems its a mouse / windows problem ? Other things on the window work(buttons, open a tab, map, chat) everything but the damn flight paths ;(

make sure you don't double click on the flightmaster. This is currently bugged.

Click once and it should work.

I've never had this bug persist after simply closing and reopening the travel window.

I did ... DID because the pressing the flight master only once fixed it :D

( I just went to unactive windows, pressed the mouse button a few times and went to the next WoW... No I press next to the FM and then on him)

ive had this bug with flight masters a lot,

ive also had it with vendors, trainers, and battle masters where their screen opens up, but i can't queue/buy/train until i escape out and click them again. Sometimes it would take like 10 tries to get it right.

Not sure if its the same single vs double click, ill have to test it when i get home from work.

At any rate im glad theres a discussion on this, i was too embarrassed to ask ^_^

If its the single vs double click that really creates the problem, you guys have just saved me a TON of frustration.

Ya for me i have to single click for it to work, when i firsted started boxing this problem would plague me for minutes as i stood there. I would keep having to open and close the flight screen till i flew away. Then i googled it and read it was some bug... cant believe it still aint fixed though... been a while. Kinda irritating for me cuz i love button mashing! LOL its hard to be calm and single click and wait as your about to die... (pvp server) haha

I know that problem, did anyone got problem with joining battlegrounds too? Sometimes when i click 'join battle' that window disappear but my char is not in queue. This sucks because when im using avenabler and i clik 'queue' there is always 1-2 chars that didnt join that stupid queue :/

usually i just right click on npcs, never fails


(which does give problems when there is like a horde next to you in gadget or booty bay ;))

Yep, I've been dealing with this by changing my standard right/right click to a left/right click... the problem would come with whichever window had focus already on the computer I was getting toons into the air with.

confirmed: Battlemaster/Vendor/Banker lag are all related to the same double-click bug.

Like if you are at a bank and it says "you are too far away from a bank" when you try and withdraw, thats because of double click.

If a Battlemaster doesnt queue you when you hit join battle, it's because of double click.

If you try and train skills and it doesn't do anything, it's because you double clicked it.

Hehe this problem was so frustrating to me, i didnt even notice that when it didnt work it was cause of me click-mashing. Kinda funny how you can sometimes do things without even noticing.
