My goal: tri-box.

So oddly enough, when I don't run Maximizer, I don't crash.

When I do run Maximizer, I do crash :(

My specs are:
OptiPlex 740 Minitower,Athlon 64 X2 4200+(2.20GHz,512KBx2)
2GB,Non-ECC,667MHz DDR2,2X1GB Dell OptiPlex 740
256MB ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT Graphics dual DVI or VGA (TV-out),Full Height,Dell OptiPlex
160GB SATA, 7200 RPM Hard Drive with Data Burst Cache Dell OptiPlex 740

Running a 22" flatscreen dell @ 1680 x 1050.

Seems like my video card is the suck. It glitches the graphics every so often.. indicating that it is maxed?

What would be a cost effective solution? (Sub $300 range)

What message do you get when WoW crashes? It might be very worth it to just copy + past your WoW folders and try again using the new copy. This worked for me before, only takes a few minutes, and it's free too ;)

I'm running 5 WoW's on a system just a little bit faster then yours, but with 4gb of memory.

Btw, I use keyclone's maximizer to set my WoW's, don't know if it matters

error message is ati2davg, and that it is in an infinite loop.

Download the latest driver package.

Uninstall the old ones (this is an essential step)

Restart.

Install the new driver package.

If this doesn't fix it, there are several other threads on google that'll tell you how to fix it :-)
