Just wanted to introduce myself to this great community! I have been playing WoW since 1 month after release on U.S. server Terenas (Alliance and Horde). Took some time off shortly after expansion hit shelves (real-life move) and have just recently gotten settled in and back into WoW.

I have been dual-boxing for the past 2 weeks on 1pc with a basic 2 hunter setup with some AHK assistance. I have decided to take the plunge and start a 5-box team on 5 separate pc's to play. I already have all the hardware available; except an additional monitor that I will order soon. I would like my new team to consist of characters that I have never played. This leaves alot of classes to choose from as I have only played a Rogue and Hunter.

The team will concentrate on PVE content only. After reading through alot of posts here I think I would like to try a classic group makeup consisting of a tank, healer and 3 dps. I know my tank is going to be a Warrior, and have narrowed the dps roles to 3 warlocks or 3 mages. My questions in regard to class makeup are:
1. Would you recommend a priest or paladin for MH duties?
2. How difficult would it be to split the dps roles? For example instead of having 3 warlocks or 3 mages; have 2 warlocks and 1 mage? Can anyone give an example of some problems I may come across in doing so?

Thanks in advance! Look forward to getting going on my 5-box team!

Even though you mainly want to PvE, consider rolling on Magtheridon. 6+ 5 boxers there already, several of which just started.

Thanks Xzin. I read the sticky at the top as Magtheridon being the 'Official Multibox Server' and may decide to roll there to join up. Only thing that was holding me back was that I have never pvp'd (except for some times in the old SouthShore vs. Tarren Mill battles) and I have 'oodles' of gold available on Terenas to help out my team if needed. I'll post in that thread if I decide to roll there.

You can bring oodles with you if you transfer, plus PvP server does not mean constantly getting killed, especially in instances.

But your call :) Would be fun though!

Can't transfer from PVE to PVP. :x

Good point on the instances though. You may have convinced me. I also would like doing the 5-man team with no help from my main, and by doing it on a different server would do the trick! :)

Plus, take mining and skinning on the "main" toon, and herbing on another (long as you can watch his minimap) and you'll never have cash flow problems ;)

Pretty much what I was thinking of doing. And then taking main professions on other characters. (ie; enchanting, tailoring for clothies, jewelcrafting.)
