4 Paladins + Healer(5v5 arena) possible?

So....I just dinged 85 on my 4 Paladins last night, Bought the majority of the BoE crafted PvP gear off the AH(enough gear to be equipped for the whole team)...

Was highly considering giving the 5v5 arena shot with my 4 Paladins(Not sure which spec i would run with, Either Ret or Prot) With a dedicated healer, probably a guild member or someone i'll pay for wins.

With Avenging Wrath up you can spam Hammer of Wrath when it's off cooldown, Which is a good amount of crit damage, also with Exorcism from Art of War is also a good amount..Then you have Hand of Freedom for snares, etc. With Holy Radiance x4 as kind of a "ohshit" button to heal up really quick - Not including Divine Shield if running close to the end or whatever.

So all in all, does anyone think at all 4 Paladins + Healer would work out at all? Or should i just run them each with another person in 2v2 for points?

I think with Round robin stuns / interrupts i MIGHT be able to pull it off, Would like input from other 5v5 boxers.

If i wanted to try 4 Paladins + healer, What kind of healer should i pick for the group combination?

4x Rets + a healer should be no problem. There is a diffrence bitween a combo that "works" on arena and a combo thats 2500+ able tho :) In the next patch rets are getting som negative love so try it while it last i gues :) (Not that they will be impossible to box in arena after 4.1, but will just have a bit harder time)

Gotcha, Thanks Emo?..I'll give it a shot when i can find more pieces of the blue BoE resilience gear on the AH...

What type of healer should i try to aim for when doing 5v5? With 4 Paladins controlled by me.

I would say a shaman is the most durable, if you don't want a paladin healer.
Not sure that a Paladin would bring a whole lot to your team.

As 4x Pallies, you could bubble your healer several times.
Subject to Forbearance.
Blessing of Protection isn't everything, but it prevents a fair amount of physical damage.
The resistance totem (healing stream glyphed) overlaps with your resistance aura, each adding one extra resist and sharing two.
Tremor would be a second fear break for the team.

You'll likely want to macro Word of Glory for the healer.
Probably a round-robin effect, so you don't blow them all at once.
In 4.1.x they're putting a cooldown (20sec) on WoG for non-Holy pallies.
There is a glyph for it, where it heals half as much but then does the remainder over time; that would allow you to have them all use it whenever, and not be totally wasted.

I'd go shammy for the healer, if lots of healers were options for you.

LOL! Still all crazy about winning my first match - Rush in and damn near "two shotted" the first person i saw, happened to be the main healer - Avenging Wrath / Hammer of Wrath x4 = GG, Then again when off cooldown. Then it was stun the ranged and get them to pop cooldowns - Got that done and eventually won!
