Because of this:

http://nelis.dsl4u.nl/boxing/thegreenblues.jpg

Just a random lvl 70 I ran into, he yelled something about 'duelbox' and felt cool I think, but lol look at his gear. I multi box for instances and by doing so my lvl 28 crew is way better looking then he was in his questing gear... Now lvl 31, got more blue's so even better looking then I did hehe

Looking pro + being reported or cheared at all the time ownes looking like a clown by 10000 miles!

 ;)

I just reply with "I enjoy running instances by myself, only play 2-3 hours a day and don't have to waste time LFG"

Any ass reply would get a "Don't be jealous because I have money to afford it and skills to do it."

That reminds me, I need to make a macro for all my generic responses... 8o

on illidan when questing i get reported so much that admins tell me some times to laugh at their user base's incompetence. I'll ss it next time it happens.

I love the people that say they're gonna report me, I tell them go for it, then they follow me around for 10 minutes, say something stupid, then put me on ignore.

That's when I pay my kid $20 to encourage everyone he knows to whisper dumb shit to the idiot.

There is a guy on the shimmering flats that sells icecream. Carry a stack of those with you and trade them to the kids. Tell them to take it easy, enjoy their icecream and be quiet so the grown ups can play.

haha lol!

btw, this topic was more of a joke, since the guy in the screenshot could be anything from lvl 10 to 70 in his gear....

Just because I can do instances when I want, as much as I like, I look more cool'ish!

Good point on the cigs...I know my mom and stepfather spend/spent more on cigarettes in half a month than I do in a whole month on WoW lol

for some reason , I still respond to these statements. The response is as follows. If a normal server . I log out horde team and bring in a 5 man alliance team to make life harder for them by /pvp. allaince team is only 60-64 but every well greared. After I kill them and laugh at them I log horde team back in and really have some fun. this is even more fun on bgs. but you could get carried away on this response.

On a pvp server you need to have aleast one account on the other side the keep an eye on your High lvl ganker of say 20-30 toons. My pvp team is 4 locks and 1 shadow priest , 17 dots are so fun with life drain.

Player 1: "You suck, cheater!"
Me: "Who you talking to?"
Player 1: "You guys! You can liek cast at saem timez!"
Me: "...and?"
Player 1: "Cheater!"
Me: "If I'm a cheater, then report me."
Player 1: "Oh, I will! Like, now!"
Me: "Ok,then I invite you to check up on me in a few days to see wether I've been banned or not"
Player 1: "Oh, you'll be liek banned 'n shit!"
Me: "Good day, Sir"

It works.

Yeah I have laugh too. It so obvious what they are doing well all the sudden they stop for a minute or two and then start following you around for a couple of minutes. I just /laugh at them. Or even better is the "Reported" then put me on ignore. Occassionally I will get someone that asks what is going on and I casually explain it to them. Of that crowd they usually think its pretty cool. On the price thing, it costs the same for me to 4 box as it does for my wife to get her hair/nails done so whaa. It also costs less than any utility bill that I have minus the water bill. The other thing you have to ask youself is this... How much is it worth to you to never have to be in another PUG. That right there justifies a lot in my head. :P

If people ask politely (or at least, aren't acting like jerks) I'll tell them what I'm doing and how, and if they ask why, I just tell them that it's fun. People who try to be abusive are quickly ignored (not with the /ignore function, I just stop responding to them). So far I've run into few people who even bother to ask me anything, much less be a pain, but this is partly by design- I run instances almost all the time and at off-hours. So I don't run into many people at all.

As for costs, well sorry... I'm not 15 years old. Mommy and daddy don't pay my way. I pay more than twice as much for cable service as I do for 5 accounts. I pay more when I go out one or two weekends a month than I do for 5 accounts. If you've got a decent job, low debt, and few other expenses, it's just not an issue. Sure, for a schoolkid or someone who is struggling to make ends meet, it can seem like an extravagant waste (and I know enough about struggling to make ends meet!).

Till now I had no problems with the people on my server :)

Only one whisper made really laugh, so I had to reply:

"What are the 4 guys doing behind you?"
"Well, they are stalkers and i can't get rid of them! Can you help me?"

Usually I explain them what I'm doing and that it is legal anyway. A Macro Set for whispering is also on my todo :)

my common response to the money insult is "I spend many times that on my girlfriend" which usually shuts them up or they respond with "lol you have a point there"

Sometimes you can pull off multi-boxing AND looking like a L70 clown 10,000 miles away. ('http://overload.clintandcindi.com/?p=19') (at least on your main)
