I'm running multiple clients on one PC. Most of the time when I load up two clients the text on the boxes disappears, and the models disappear. Sometimes it works fine.

Think its a driver thing? does nobody else ever have this happen?

Windows xp btw.

ouch. looks like you are running out of 'resources' ... basically system/graphics memory.

how much memory do you have on your system? how much graphics memory?

I have twin 8800 GTS's and 2 gigs of ram, the thing is, sometimes it works fine, and i can load up 5 clients totally fine. If i totally log into the game, the log totally out, then try to load all the clients it does that.

The Gts's are 640 mgs of ram each.

Oh, and I just grabbed keyclone, looks nice ^^

whoa... nice rig. well, it could be your driver. (assuming you have an updated direct x version). check to see how many processes you have running before you start. (right-click task bar/ task manager/processes)

i usually run with 26-32 processes after startup.

other then that... i'm a bit stumped without seeing the box. hopefully someone else will have an idea.

any suggestions for keyclone, drop em on me. i've got the new hotstrings version up... working a bug with the alt/shift/ctrl keys. (i'll make an alpha available if i don't get it before bed)

thanks again for using keyclone. if i can do anything to improve it, let me know.

and please, spread the word :)

I like the concept of keyclone. It seems like the kind of niche product that people who box could use and get a great amount of utility from.

Yes, it costs money and yes it is a bit limited and closed source.... but I see it as a far cheaper way to get into dual or more boxing than buying all of the dedicated hardware.

With some more work, it could be quite the program and well worth the money (not that it is not now but it could use some more icing).

Yea, I'm not sure whats up either. Cause If i get one client into the game and then boot the others it does that. I just updated my video card drivers. It seems like, as long as the clients are started at the same time (sometimes) It works fine.

The follow disconnect bug is horribly annoying too.

thx Xzin.

I'm putting up an alpha for the keycloners here to test. hopefully with a bit more 'icing'.. but it's alpha, and a bit rough at the moment...

watch for the post

Um, disable all your addons first.

Could be you have something that activates and tracks "wow.exe"?

A friend is using a Logitech G15, as soon as he started up a 2nd version of WoW it would crash and cause strange bugs, because the G15 tracks and displays info given to it by the application, I'm guessing more than 1 copy running sends it twice the info, and confuses it, and locked up his system. I'd try renaming the .exes to something else if you haven't already
