The Circuit City advertisement for next week (Feb 10-16) has WoW for $9.99. Time to stock up.

Ya, but what about BC?
From what I've seen lately, is that WoW is generally $10 and BC is $30. Or you can get both in the "battlechest" for $40.
Its a wash.Best buy is 29.99 for WOW 39.99 for TBC and the battle chest is almost always out of stock ( i was able to get 1)

Weird, my local Wal Mart has both for 19.99 each. Comes out to be the same price as the battlechest, but you don't get the guide. I was going to get the chest last time I went to buy, but the seal on it was broken. I took it up to the front and gave it to them, since the reg key was free for anyone to pull out and copy, and they said: "Ok, we'll just tape it up" Walmart = smart thinkers.

My local walmart doesn't carry the battlechest last I looked, but WoW + BC = $20 EACH, bout the same cost anyways; now if they start selling 1month timecards for $9.... ;)

Man, I did not know about the battlechest for $39 then I bought separately for $20 wow, and $30 tbc.
I already transfered my level 70 to the new account when I realized there was a battle chest.

the battlechest or wow+bc is not a wash... you forgot about the free month you get with both wow and bc, but you only get 1 month with the battlechest.
get wow+bc and you should be up a month's fee.. $10+$30 - $15- $15 == 2 months of play for $10

Game stop had the Battle Chest for $20 awhile back. I would keep an eye out with them and see if it drops that low, then stock up.

The clerk at WalMart was very confused.

Thats what you get for shopping at Best Buy. :P
Eh, I purchased 3 copies of the BattleChest there for $29.99 a pop.. that's not exactly a bad deal. Most items are overpriced, so just wait until they have deals - that usually brings them down to a reasonable level.

I just bought my 5th copy of WoW (my 2nd Battlechest) @ Gamestop.
Guy was like "New to WoW? Getting back into it?"
Me: No, its my 5th account
Guy: ?( <complete WTF look on his face>
:DI bought 8 new copies of WoW Battlechest (6 from the first, 2 from the other) from two different GameStops in Massachusetts recently, and they were both very interested in what I was doing with them, but instead of WTF they were more WOW :)
Of course I'm still new to this whole multi-boxing thing still... been lurking here for a bit now, so hello!
You got a "WTF Moment" irl with your multiboxing. I love it.

Be wary of buying from WalMart. I bought 2 copies of Warcraft, BC, and 2 gamecards for Christmas presents for a couple friends. All 4 game boxes had no CD Keys. When we took them back, every copy of both had no CD keys. We had to go to 3 WalMarts before finding any copies with them. I don't know if this was just a local issue, but it was sure a mess. All the boxes were sealed and didn't look tampered with (not just the shrink-wrap, but the security tape). Another friend's wife works at WalMart and he said they recalled all their WoW boxes. This was in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, FYI.
