Hiya, I know it's possible to quad box shamans in 25 mans. I have a guild thats weak with DPS right now, and i have considered quad boxing my shamans in 25 mans to boost their DPS. I can full clear kara with ease after 3 weeks, and my gear has gworn exponentially in the same 3 weeks from 5k HP to 9 and from 500 spell dmg to 800ish. I do so much dmg when i spec PvE (4x totem of wrath is Sex) that its very hard to DPS and not pull aggro. i pulled off our bear tank last week on Prince and after dying on my main toon, he went back I ankhd and we killed him without further incident.
I guess my question is for anyone with 25 man content experience above and beyond Gruul, he doesn't really count. i havent tried gruul before because of the shatter, and it would require my guildmates really knowing that to do with me, which they dont yet.. but in the future, i would love to do 25's with them, and I was hoping I could get a rundown of what bosses are viable and which are certainly not?
I know Mag would benefit from a quad boxer, since I have INSANE burst dmg for the initial warlocks to burn them down, and wont run out of mana for Mag himself, but what about TK? SSC? Beyond?
I have seen the Vashj video, and I have seen the picture of Ellay next to the phoenix boss in eye, and I hear Fel Reaver is possible if I stand with Melee and chain heal after pound things.. but honestly my own 25 man raiding is limited to gruul, mag, fel reaver, lurker, and videos of the rest.
whats the pros and cons to bringing my guys in, once they are a little more geared? i dont have ellays gear yet, and my guild is working on Vashj and I thought it would be awesome if I was there for the first kill with my shamans in a few more weeks or a month of gearing. by then I should have a lot more HP and spell dmg.

You can do certain % of boss encounters in tk/ssc/hyjal and bt. Some encounters will be harder then it would be without boxer, and some impossible.
For example, hyjal.
Winterchill
You will get alot of damage from death'n'decay first of all. Tho you can survive and it isnt that huge problem. Also you will get ice bolts and wont be able to react fast enough with bg trinket and more likely get 1-shotted. Not sure if grounding totem absorbes ice bolt.
Anatheron
You will have to place your characters in different places of the map and manually control each toon once it gets infernal. Pretty hard but should be possible.
Kaz'rogal
More likely you will have to do the same - place toons around the boss so they wont blow each other.
Azgalor
1 rain of fire will affect 4 toons. Uh, hard work for healers. Also rain of fire and in the same time one of you gets mark of doom. Someone gotta die for sure ;)
Archimonde
It will get alot of work. You will have to deal with air burst, fear into fires and fires themselves. Gotta be very tough.
So it is possible to raid hyjal and bt but will be very hard and high end guild will prefer different people instead of boxer.

With skill ennyting is possible XD
i reccomend you take yoru mane and 1 toon fist and se how it goes, then 2 and 3 and then 4 and 5 and see what happens
gruul would be tough unless you each got a rock to stand behind, even then it would still be difficult.
would be fun, someday i hope i can 5box 25mans
I have tried some quad boxing with my shamys in 25man content. i usualy fill the raid up when we miss people and play my shamys instead of my raiding character.
so far i have manage and succesfully killed
Al'ar (easy fight until you get in the middle of some flam paths)
Solarian (was tough with the bomb things was lucky thou and only had to deal with one)
maulgar ( esisest 25man raidboss for a boxer i have tested so far)
Gruul (easier than it looks have the raid help you by marking you chars so they can run away from them after the shatter, since you don't have much time to move them all, and they do tend to fly all over the place)

How bout this:
Any fight will be possible, if you have a guild who can cope for your iherenet lack of coordination.
Even ellay on Vash can only do the most simplistic part of the fight (not die, dps strider). Also remember, that his guild is OVERGEARED for vash.
Basically you need a guild that has the gear and skill to do every other part of the fight, and leave you to just PEW PEW PEW

well an update from the OP =)
I got into SSC today kind of out of luck, my guild lost some DPS and thankfully someone mentioned that I could fill some spots. most of the raid had seen me in Kara earlier and decided i was worth a go, even for just Lurker.
I came 1 2 3 4 in DPS. by a HUGE margin. i stayed in the water the WHOLE fight, and was able to ultra DPS the boss when he was up and DPS down both closer islands of adds as well as MT add in record time. we downed him faster than any other attempts, and like I said, I was top 4 DPS by a huge margin. i pulled off 700+ DPS with one guy and 600+ with the others, and the next closest DPS was a mage at 450+ or something.
problem is, they are STILL not convinced im a good idea to be bringing to raids.. i dont get guilds.. so messed up lol
anyone know a good alliance guild that will accommodate my uber shamans?

Nice job :)
I guess the point is though doing well in 1 encounter doesn't mean you will in all, and also you taking 4 spots means 3 others don't get to go - That's why guilds don't do it :)

Raiding is awesome but turns into a double edged sword. It provides more of a challenge for you creating that extra step of complexity no other player gets, if anything goes wrong though even if your not to blame, it will inevitably become your fault simply due to being an easy target.
I'm not sure which fight this was in SSC but here is the damage meters.

My opinion is that if the guild is short on people for an encounter, then multi-boxing should be welcome IF the fight is doable for a boxer and the player has proven themselves in something like Kara. However, I don't think multi-boxers should take the spot of willing people if they are available to raid. I am both a boxer and a raider and I would never want to deny a guildmate a raid spot by my boxing an extra toon.
