After many RMA's, broken monitors, and long struggles to get everything to align properly, my flotilla hath officially set sail:

Many hi res photos and info at:

The main highlight of this setup of course is the fact that it is not attached to the wall and does not touch the desk in anyway - it is instead hung from the ceiling.
I had released a goof video prior it being all completed but at that time the monitors were overlapping and not properly aligned and a few had cracks from shipping and needed to be RMA'ed - it was a huge pain in the butt, however, worth it in the end.

That might be one of the coolest computer related things I have ever seen. Wow, let's see some pics with you playing some games please!!!!

Fucking christ.
I am speechless.
And very envious. Enjoy your coffee, dick!
;)
But very well done, really love the set up.
Very impressing, but i wonder what you benefitt from having 15 screens instead of say 6? I must admit that its really nice and good looking overall but functionwise how do you manage it to its fullest potential?

Playing 15 Nodiatis accounts at once is the current screen utilization. It's kind of funny though mutliboxing the most accounts I've ever handled and doing so on a game with a 3 man group size. But the potential to funnel funds to my main group of 3 and kick ass in the arenas is there (still talking Nodiatis here - my WoW days are over... totally burned out of WoW).
I would have loved to have had this monitor setup back when I was playing 13 EVE accounts since it was really tough getting all the UI to fit on the half screens, plus this way I could play 15 potentially. I gave Rift a try and just didn't see the potential for multiboxers in PVP due to OP AoE effects. The only mainstream MMO I'm tempted to play again would be EVE just due to how awesome it would look.

My current computer has that same case! I love it.

I have the same case too, only it's empty at the moment.
that chair/desk look very close to the monitors, can you see the side ones without turning your head?

Madness :D
I'm also wondering if you have to move your head around a lot to see everything?

I actually use a corded logitech mouse but i figured the less cords in the picture the better :)
If you want to run 15 clients full res then in order to be in that magic 3 foot range of the main monitor there will be some head movement to see the other monitors. remember the monitors are floating and not attached to the desk in any way, so there's nothing stopping me from just moving the desk backward to be at whatever distance my eyes feel most comfortable. i generally just use peripheral vision to pick up potential synch issues when multiboxing and rarely end up actually focused on any other the other monitors. i've always been in favor of more compact, higher res monitors as opposed to the giant monitors of the same resolution in order to minimize the actual surface area that your eyes need to view at once. The samsung p2250's i have are relatively compact for a 1920x1050 monitor at 22". You could probably get a slightly thinner bezel but I just like the look of the clear acrylic along the edges.
and ya i love that antec case too. one day i'll have to put all 8 computers in nice black cases but thinking about how much work that would be to move all the internals to a new case again doesn't get me too excited. might just wait until it's time to upgrade.

I love this setup.
I have to ask the same question everyone ask about my 5 monitor setup, do you turn each monitor on manually?
I am wondering this, because I am thinking of getting another UPS just for the monitors, and turning it on and off. I am just not sure if that is good for the monitors.

I think they make power strips that have master plugs. You put an item in it and when you turn it off, the whole strip turns off. But couldn't you just leave them in sleep when not used? Doesn't seem like it would be much power.

All my life, I have managed to stomp out things such as Jealousy, Covetousness, and Envy.
Kromtor is really putting that believe system to the test. That is just awesome Bro!

lol ya i actually do turn them on by hand - but since these have the cool surface sensors you just lightly touch them with your finger or knuckle and it's oddly enjoyable. with my previous setup the on/off buttons were on the BOTTOM of the monitors and accessing some of them required some lever action from a paperclip or shim and was not fun at all.

Yeah I have the Samsung's with the button the on bottom. But I only have 4 of them. The 5th is a 27' Samsung and has the magic touch button in the front. I usually leave mine during the day, unless I am know I am going to be away for more than an hour. I work at home, so I am there most of the day. It is not really a big deal turning them on or off, but having a one button solution would be nice.

That is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Just sent this thread to a friend as we was talking about monitor mounts.

Just got done replacing some parts on my 6 client comps, new cases each with a buttload of airflow and custom filters on all intakes that you can clean from the outside.
