King's Breach Down

Nothing special here, just a mention this instance is cleared. Level 35+ instance. Tried it with the group at 33 and it was the easiest instance by far. Every boss was tank and spank. A few moments of healing intensive damage, but nothing too scary.

Anyway, this was a fun, fast and easy instance if anyone wants to try it. Easy to do at level 33.

[Kicksome]

Nice job! This was my favorite instance. The only one aside from Realm of the Fae that the bosses were relatively easy. I farmed the heck out of that place.

[Flight]

Yeah, Kings Breach was nice and smooth. Went to lvl 38 there and was sorry to have to leave. Will post a few screenies to help people.


First boss is Hunter Suleng. He does a frontal cone AE melee attack that does significant damage and spawns pairs of minor adds. Park your toons out of reach of his melee and its a straight tank and spank, with no surprises, except the minor adds.

Second boss is Ravalos. Does major rear damage cleave and frontal AE stuns so have your toons except your tank alongside him. Again, nice and easy once you get the positioning sorted :

Third boss can spawn as one of two mobs - Flesheater Autoch or Soulflayer Mondrach.

Autoch will charge and knock about your tank and other toons and place heavy DoTs on them.


We're going to park our toons with our backs to the tree stump in the right foreground of the following shot, specifically against the right hand side of the stump as we are looking at it, not in the middle :

You might get knocked about a bit at first, but once you find the sweet spot it's solid and you'll just jump up slightly in the air when you get charged. Once you find it Autoch is an easy tank and spank fight.

The other boss is a more of a pain. Soulflayer Mondrach. He will do an AE knockback and place a large AE ground based DoT on toons other than your main tank. You either need good AE healing, in which case you can use the same spot as for Autoch, or you need to put your toons on follow, suck up the knockbacks, and stay mobile.

Fourth boss is the Shadehorror Phantasm. You need to be aware that he will spawn in exactly the same spot as the third boss a few seconds after the third boss dies, so make sure you've pulled the third boss away from his spawn point. He has low hit points (21.5K). At set times he will spawn a group of five adds and become immune until they die (though I did note DoTs continue to damage him will immune - he actually died once while 'immune').. note these spawns are very much time based. if you burn him down you will only get one group of adds !

Overall I agree with Teslah. A very nice, straighforward dungeon for a boxed crew. Was sorry to leave it.

edit : Be aware of Death Beacons. At a couple of places you have to down them to either open up the way forward or make the third and fourth boss spawn. First pull the 3 mobs from around them at maximum range as the beacons have long range attacks. Or just charge in :P While fighting the Beacons at three times, 23k, 13k and 5k (6k once) health a Putrid Grave Leech add will spawn. You need to aggro them off the bat or they will kill a non tank pretty quick. Either kill each as it spawns or grab aggro of them and turn back to kill the beacon.

My guys are 37, i skipped the last few instances. think this can be done with ranger/bards? Or will I need direct heals and a tank?
