I was thinking about a new 3 box trio a Paladin tank, Paladin Heal and Lock for Dots/DPS but I was wondering do you guys think that maybe a Palading Tank, Shaman Heal (chainheal FTW) and Lock would be better?

I would go with Pal/Sha/Loc b/c totems are great to have and yes, chain heal ftw! GL and have fun!

I'd say definitely avoid a second pally whatever you do. During normal questing most of the time your healing pally would just be dead weight (melee dmg problems, nothing to heal, etc.)

I'd really be more inclined to say 2 shaman, both elemental for the first... 60 levels :) and then move one to resto if you wanted to be the holy trinity of a group. Otherwise just stay elemental and it's really easy to tank and DPS.

The pally is just an awesome tank that requires very little micro-management, though. You will rarely have a problem with adds peeling off the pally tank, and pallies can mitigate quite a bit of damage. But, it depends on what you want to do. If you see yourself doing more pvp than pve, then I probably wouldn't go with the pally at all, and make it a sha/sha/loc, pri/loc/loc, or even sha/sha/sha. Try out different combos on the PTR if you get a chance (when it's up) and see which one you like.

I think I am going to go the Pal/Sha/Loc route. I could imagine a Self-Rez on the Shaman and Soul Stone on the Pal would go a long, long ways in avoiding a wipe. I had solo leveled a Shaman up to 49 but didn't like him, I think as heal and additional DPS via totems and LB that he would fit in sweet.
