Silly Loot Question - Recipes

This is probably silly, but it just dawned on me.

I did some searches, found one thread that kind of answered my question but figured I should triple check since it was dated 2008.

Looting as a boxer:

I've been looting in "Free For All" settings since I started. Would my main be able to see recipe drops if they don't have the profession? It kind of dawned on me that I haven't seen any recipes leveling my first team up to 85, and realized I maybe should be doing it all under Master Looter?

You can leave it on FFA and any toon that loots the corpse for the first time will see any recipe, even if it is BoP and they don't have the profession. Note that only the FIRST toon to check the corpse will see it (but won't be able to loot it if BoP and they don't have the profession). Subsequent toons won't see the BoP recipe unless they have the profession.
For trade-able recipes, every toon will be able to see the recipe (and loot it).
