Just an update on progression. Was able to get through Deepstrike Mines earlier today.

Team is Pally Tank 26, 2 Dominator Mages both 25 for instant dual sheeping, 1 elementalist 25 and 1 cleric 26. I Frapsed it so I'll put that up a little later. The instant sheep talent is very useful. Especially when they break or other adds come. You can easily target them, sheep them and be back to your main mob in about a second.

DEEPSTRIKE MINES STRATEGY

Overseer Markus – Boss 1

This is the first boss you encounter. He has 4 adds that you have to kill along with him. If you can CC some of the adds go for it, otherwise just have your tank grab them all and kill the adds one by one, then the boss. At about 50% he splits into three parts. Again, have your tank grab all three and focus fire the adds one at a time. Once these are killed the boss returns and now does much more damage. Just dps him down and be ready to spam heal your tank.

Make sure to stay on the platform and have your tank face Markus away from the group. If any of your guys are off the platform he will reset.

Gregori Kreslav – Boss 2

This guy was more of an endurance test. Be ready to regenerate mana during the fight if you have mana users. I have three ranged dps and kept them right at the end of the bridge so they could get the adds that spawn. This way you won’t need to move them and they can keep firing away for crucial dps. Just keep them outside of the three adds that spawn and they never have to move.

Dps him down like normal. At 60% he spawns a skeleton. The skeleton is not easy to see so make sure to grab him fast. The skeleton hits really hard so be ready to spam heal your tank when he spawns. Have the tank grab the add, dps him down and go back to the boss. A few seconds later 3 caster adds spawn in a triangle around the boss. They channel a spell on the boss that makes him immune to all damage. Kill the adds (the boss still hits your tank during this) and go back to the boss. After a bit he spawns the skeleton again, then the adds once more. If you are not quick enough he will do it a third time.

Make sure you have plenty of mana, heal potions, and all cooldowns to get mana/health. You will need all of your tricks on this fight. Use the health regen potions over time on your tank, use the elixirs that buff the tanks armor, scrolls, runecrafter buff stones and anything else you have to be able to last for a long fight.

Bonehew The Thunderer – Boss 3

This was the easiest boss in the instance. Again, everyone has to be on the platform or he resets. Also, he has to be faced away from the group.

I ran straight past him, turned him away from the group and started the fight. At different points he will go to a random spot on the platform, turn and face the center and launch a massive throwback in a very wide cone. You have to move/strafe your guys or they will get thrown off the platform. Just make sure they are against some of the barrels or boxes and they’ll stay on the platform if they get hit. They’ll take damage if they get hit, but won’t die. As long as you give them a heal after the throwback they’ll be ok. Then go back on the boss. He’ll do the throwback a few times during the fight.

Gatekeeper Kaleida – Final Boss

He has to be faced away from the group. He will kill everyone in your group with one shot if you don’t face him away. If you have group healing this works really well. Keep your team at the entrance against the wall next to the scaffolding. Let them stay here the whole fight. The tank should run up about halfway and pull the boss to him. About the center of the room.

Stay still for all crystals. Let the red crystals explode and just heal through it. Don't worry about moving for them. Kill the yellow crystals ASAP and the fight is pretty simple.

Last boss strat updated. Changed a few souls last night, cleared all points and did my trees over again. Starting to get a nice group going.

Anyway, for the last boss I changed the strat and it is way easier now. See above.

I used the strat to do everything but the last boss (I wiped x2) at lvl 23-24 with my team. The last boss is pretty tough at this level, but other than the Gatekeeper and Gregori, some of the wandering mobs seem tougher than the bosses lol.

Gregori is definitely an endurance test. What I do is have everyone assist until the three adds spawn, then I sic my bards on the spawns one at a time (I get them started, then turn off FTL Assist, and retarget Gregori), while I continue to beat down Gregori with the tank.

It's a bit clunky given that I have to target the spawn, play cadence, click my "Don't assist" button, retarget, etc., but it's pretty easy to suceed this way. I do need a way to turn the cleric off completely -- right now I have heal and dps settings -- the heal is on the same key as cadence, and in dps mode, she has things to do when the tank hits. I want her to shut up, stand still, and regen or conserve mana hehe. Even so, I command her to drink a mana pot mid fight and she ends the fight with < 100 mana, but we live :)
