Heh, that was fun, i always wondered what it would be like to be on the receiving end of 5 chain lightnings, it's not plesant. That was a good match, i'm not used to losing in bgs unless it's against an epiced out premade. If i wasn't to busy trying to spam heals on myself i would have taken a few more screenshots. Heh, that reminds me, i need to summon myself back up to the roof in If and start shadowbolting people again, that was fun :) Good thing i have 3 level 20 locks there already and ready to summon ;) Anyway, that was good match, i'm sure i'll see you around more in bgs.

Whiny alliance. Defend yourself rather than crying out foul, same stuff we've been saying for years.

Heh, i was up there for like 10 minuets, it's not like i was staying up there for hours ganking people, all you had to do was go stand on the other side of the bridge. Heaven forbid I have some fun in a video game. It took me 10 minutes to get ontop of that roof the first time i ever did it, it's not like it's some unreachable point, Blizzard knows people can get up there, it's no big secret, and i'm pretty sure they could make it so people can't get up there if they really cared. I honestly don't see why you would care enough to wait an hour for a gm so you could bitch to them about it. You threaten to report me for something ridiculous and you threatened to start ganking multiboxers horde side just becaues they choose to be a part of our community, when I nor anyone in my guild have done anything to you to warrent that. Chill out and don't take things so seriously.

I wasn't flagged, I just showed up while you were there ganking random lowbies and hiding in back anytime someone fought back like the coward you are ;p The point is though, you are doing something blizzard deems illegal. Being on ANY roof in Azeroth, regardless of who can or cannot get up there, is illegal. We are to avoid breaking rules they explicitly set. You start shit like that and then everyone will cry foul, "well he's willing to break this rule, why not the botting one?" etc and it's a slippery slope for the whiners to slide down and screw us because you had to get your shits and giggles :p Use the pit, half the alliance is too stupid to look down there anyways
Again, the only issue is that Blizzard said "DONT DO THIS DAMN YOU", in a LOGIN MESSAGE OF THE DAY no less. You don't pick n choose which of their rules to follow, you follow them all and this is an old one. :p
Actually, i think you are ok on rooftops as long as you dont hit the npcs?

I think the reason it's a reportable offense to blizzard is because rooftops are used to evade NPC guards who are there to stop PvP in certain areas.
A quick google search pulled up this (old) thread ('http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html;jsessionid=BE051D0815E74F57396D33CA5EC D852B?topicId=73458987&postId=734427731&sid=1') with this interesting quote:
It is additionally important to note that our stance toward rooftop camping in Azeroth has not changed and will remain a punishable offense when verified by a Game Master.
Seems pretty clear to me that attacking anyone from a rooftop in any non-outlands area is a no-no regardless of how much "fun" you have doing it or how long you did it for.

Main reason this was implemented was due to horde going apeshit on everyone in Darkshire standing on rooftops where only epic mounts, or base mounts with speed trinkets could get to, avoiding both guards and any, for irony and lack of a better word, 'reprisal' from other players ;p Anyne mounted tries to get up there they'd be dotted/blown up before they stood a chance, thereby removing "Pvp solution" from the equasion; plus it's just plain a dick move :p You can do better than that
This isn't just ALliance only though; there are new, stealthed w/ stealth-detection lv70 Troll Archer guards over EVERY GODDAMN ROOFTOP in the main area of Orgrimmar now who do like 2k per shot; stealthing into the lot of those was not fun. So even in a supposedly safe area like Orgrimmar blizz makes it's roof policy obvious ;p
not really, the darkshire crap still remains like always. But i dont mind, ill report every one of them.
