On the heels of Suvega's amazing video editing skills ('http://v-boxing.net/blog/videos.php/2008/02/04/2x-5-boxing-karazhan-teaser'), I present to you my not-so-snazzy version of the Moroes fight. This is less theatrical bang and more just giving you a full view of the fight.
We have 2 perspectives:
Luai, main tank (tanking Moroes)
Velani, offtank healer (healing Velath who's tanking adds)

Awesome job :)
was wondering vyndree, why dont you put all the scrolling combat text info to a part of your screen more to the left?

Are you talking about Luai's perspective, or Velani's perspective?
Suvega actually READS all the crud that's going on in Luai's screen (the tanking warrior). Velani's SCT is a sprinkler/rainbow effect that circles the character so that I can read it when I choose to and it's out of the way when I don't need it.

Pally's perspective is not in this video. O.o
Actually... I'm not sure the pally's perspective is in ANY video of mine...

Luai is Suvega's prot warrior. ;)
He has a 30" apple cinema display and fills the center of his screen with numbers. Silly, I know.

I found out that having a large splat of numbers in themiddle of the screen is good... why?
a) You can see through them, so really its not that intrusive.
b) if you don't see RED numbers on top, theres a problem, find the guy and have him start hitting you again before your healer gets pizowned
c) if you don't see GREEN numbers on top, theres a problem. /pray that your healer is ok..... Or start looking for the 'release corpse button' on your 5 characters...
d) If you see things that are inYELLOW with something like (PARRY) next to it.... Start priming some heals, cuz you gonna get owned.
e) If you see you getting buffs that are like... uhh not what you expected.... Figure out during the walk back wtf it was.
:D
ill keep it at f, not worthy of a 30inch! Think big! :P (jk)

Awesome job!
I once saw an Apple 30" monitor at Compusa. It looked so good, I almost cried.
Glad I'm not the only one who likes X-perl. The on-bar casting monitors are wonderful.

I've got a 30inch and I keep the spam on the top of my tank as well.
Although I've been away on business for the past couple days and can't multibox!!!!

Back to what I tried to say this morning stupid site kept giving me a internal 500 error..
Great Video. Love the Matrix Song also. Would love to see the whole video.
Great videos guys, good to see you putting that huge UPS shipment to good use and pushing the envelope on what MB'ers can do.
Since you are using Quartz I thought I would throw this tip out there. On my characters with a lot of buttons on screen I disabled the cooldown overlay on my buttons and just used the Quartz cooldown bar. Really helped with interface lag that happens sometimes with lots of stuff going on and I noticed my casters staying better in synch with each other. Using Omnicc I can disable the cooldowns and keep the pulse for skills that are ready too.

I kept wondering how the paladin managed to peel the adds so smoothly off the warrior as I didn't see an Avenger's Shield and it would be risky with a shackle and Moroes closeby. Then I went back to the PvE progress thread and found the strat:
Warrior pulls. Paladin taunts off the warrior (Moroes is untauntable) while the priest shackles the mob that cleaves (the paladin can exorcism before the shackle to keep the mob's aggro off the priest).
That is pretty neat. It would be interesting to know how many attempts you had on each boss before the kill.

Moress - uhhh... a few? ;)

Attumen: 1 shot, which is amazing cuz I was a nub and forgot to put on righteous fury... >.<
Maiden: 4-5... 5 if you count the time that Suvega accidentally pulled while he was putting his mages into the correct spots
Oz: 3. I remember.
Moroes: Don't ask. Most of the "attempts" were "oh, SH*T... I accidentally got all the adds. RESET, RESET!" or "SHACKLE, SHACKLE! OMG, RESET!" -- the actual full wipes were much less since most of the mistakes were on the pull and figuring out HOW to pull. For example, at first I pulled with Avenger's shield, but I'd get all the adds + Moroes and get wtfpwned. Then we tried having the war pull and THEN the pally avenger shield, and I'd either hit the shackle or hit Moroes and pull aggro. It took a while to figure out the warrior pull + taunt method.

I think the taunt with Moroes being immune is an absolutely wonderful way of turning a percieved negative boss trait to your advantage.
One other thing, is it the warrior that runs out? I think I saw the warrior running out at least twice, what happened there?

Hmm? Running out? The warrior typically tries to tank Moroes near the paladin for consecrates, but if I'm too close on threat he'll drag it away so I don't accidentally pull aggro. The last mob (green triangle) cleaves, so you'll see him run in/out in a (failed) attempt to avoid the cleaves. ;)
EDIT: Unless you mean the green triangle running around -- that's the shackle breaking since we have a holy priest with no +spellhit. He does get re-shackled and then we run away from him so that I can consecrate again.
