I've just ordered the Cherry compact keyboard G84-4100

Shown here

It's a mechanical keyboard, and compact! I was initially looking at the steelseries 7g, but I couldn't justify spending so much after recently upgrading my hardware.

I'm tired of my diNovo Edge cutting out for ~10 seconds, infrequent but could occur at the most inopportune moment.

So I needed a wired keyboard, mechanical with good build quality. I think the Cherry keyboard fits the bill.. and it being compact I think it might be quite good for WOW boxing.

Anyone else had experience with this keyboard? or have their own personal favourite.

I have used the Logitech G15 (v1 18 key version) for the past 4 years with no problems. (both at home and at work)

I use the Razer Black Widow myself, mechanical keyboards are very sexy. I could never go back to a membrane
keyboard after going mechanical. I don't know what type of switches that keyboard uses [just quickly breezing
over the page I didn't see any info], but there are a handful of different ones out there. I couldn't do w/o a
number pad though. =\

Since I've been using my diNovo Edge, I've been without a numpad - so I've gotten used to it.
