PvE Server of choice is Alsbeth!!

Starting this thread to make it easier for people to find. Lets try to keep the posts less about game discussion and more about posting if you are coming to Wolfsbane, and what side you will be on, toon names etc.. I will be going Guardians on Wolfsbane PvE server. Others have decided to go Defiant on Wolfsbane.

If you want to go to a PvE server. consider starting on Wolfsbane! Lets make Wolfsbane the unofficial PvE boxing server! Join us!

I will edit this post with my guild name and lead character name once i can get that done on Thursday. if your going Guardian, look me up!

I just bought my 2nd copy of RIFT and will be 2 boxing a tank and a healer. I'll see you on the 24th.

Im considering doing a paladin heavy tank dude and druid heavy healer dude, but i really dug the clerics so i am considering rocking a justicar heavy guy for the tank rather than the pally. Not sure yet O_O didnt get a lot of chance to mess around.

The only issue I can think of at the moment is time zones.

I am in Canada and EST, and I believe all the servers are PST. So, I may not be able to make any/all of the events, whatever they may be.

I have a 10 man ventrilo server we can use for free. No one else uses it and it's mine, so if we want to set that up for people to casually join I am cool with it, just let me know.

May try to hook up with this. I'm all about PVP but like being left alone when i want to do PVE so might do the PVE server. I'll probably 3 box to start since it seems to be the most my PC can handle. Can't decide for sure what to play yet, only got to do last couple days of beta. Tried just about everything for a few levels but was most impressed with 3 bards. Concerned that it won't scale well at end game and everyone will be doing it, so may go to my more standard mixed class setup or 3 dps of some sort if it looks like I'll have tanks and healers I can join up with.

Beta'd on Wolfsbane and will stay there. Also diffinently going Defiant, scenery is more in-line with what I like. And decided I will be 3-boxing from the start. If I ever start making posts about 10 or 12 boxing or more then whatever a full group is, please discourage me because I have once again lost my sanity.

I have no great preference for either side but am gonna roll with Lyon so I will be Guardian.

I have to say I liked the druid pet a lot... I was reading that they get a little gimpy later on, but the satyr is supposed to be decent damage. I was thinking of, for my duo, doing something like this:

So..... one of my friends is going Guardian, the other going Defiant. Boxers are rolling on both sides, and I even read that you can /whisper between the two factions, but haven't tested that.

Now I'm leaning towards playing Defiant side first, maybe different pair combos on both sides.

Great minds must think alike! I filmed all my Rift reviews on Wolfsbane- might see yourself if you played during the last phase of beta.

So that's th server I'll be choosing. Only going to be single boxing it though. Not ready to make such a huge investment in Rift just yet. Hate to keep bringing up my reviews but in them you'll see exactly why. Not wanting to derail your topic- but the game has tons of collection quests.

Back to your topic. Will be on Wolfsbane Guardian side!

I does have tons of collection quests.. i just do them.. the kill mob and loot an item type drop the item for everyone though.. so not as bad as wow. The loot stuff on the ground types suck.. but the stuff spawns fast.. Good thing is, you can skip a lot of quests if you mix your leveling up with Warfronts and Rifts.

I will stop what I'm doing for any and ALL zone wide invasions this time around! My Bards are made for Rift hunting 8)

Crap! I shoulda pre-staged. Luckily I had my lap top with Rift already running looking at the server screen when all servers started unlocking and immediately got in Wolfsbane. Thought I was going to have to log to desktop and back on. Logged on my 4 other accounts and am now in a que of anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and 20 minutes.

That was fast lol. In the time it took me to log on the second account, Wolfsbane was already full and a waiting que of 1000+

well crap.. i was in on all my guys ( after two hours que) Got them to level 5..macros made etc and the servers went down.. now they all have a 5+ hour wait.. I'm tempted to start on a new server.. a few have low pops atm and or less than full. what yall think?

i was in..servers went down..6 hour wait atm. My concern is that all the guys who wanted to join us on Wolfsbane will get home tonight and have a multi hour wait. As i speak even the lowest pop servers are starting to fill up. So I'm thinking about waiting until tonight and seeing whats up. Does someone have a vent we can get on and when enough are on.. we can join the lowest pop PvE server at that time ( if there are any low pops servers )

Now don't get me wrong, I don't want to end up on a low pop server later on, when people leave the game and such. I just have a feeling, that as the next few days go by, they will keep adding servers and they will all fill up. So whatever server we pick tonight, will more than likely stay high/full long past launch. It would be nice for us all to get on the same server tonight. If not.. ill wait it out and see you guys on Wolfsbane tomorrow . I only have a few hours left to play today anyway. Tell me what you guys think!

Any place is fine with me. I still have my 5 wow accounts so it's not like I lack for things to do.

Once I got in it only took about an hour to get to level 8, so leveling is pretty fast. I'll check oh Alsbeth.

I didnt see a guild. The dual-boxing chat channel is helpful though since theres no whisper forwarding, so it makes it easy to see chat from different chars etc.

A guild chat channel will work for that as well of course =P But if people are doing their own guild things, then the chat room will still be useful just for chatting. Woot.

Actually, you can add someone as a friend when they are ofline.

However, Pugsly is on the Defiant side and lyonheart is on the Guardian side.

My funniest boxing moment so far in rift was a couple days ago. I whispered a guy to join their questing group for a kill count quest, and the invite pops and I accept. Then I whisper for an invite from my second toon (names are Camden/Camdan) and no reply. Whisper again, nothing, third time I get, "dude, you're already in the group." I said no that's my alt, and the invite pops for #2, but I got a good laugh out of it.
