Not in the difficulty sense, but the boredom sense. I show up to the station and dock my DESTROYER with 5 LAZERS of DEATH only for my agent to give me a freaking courier mission?! WTF. Pickup this scientist, drop him off here....wow derrrr okaayyyyy huhuhhhuh, i tink i can handle dat *drool*

Why can't I just start on l3 missions? I have the ships...please tell me there are no courier l3 missions, I just want to kill stuff and salvage their "corpses".

if you run for the right type of agent you should get no to very little courier missions.

See the table with mission types per division. I get the rare pure courier mission from security/internal security but usually it's the "KILL DEM ALLZ AND BRING ME THIS DUDE" type of courier, which is good because someone has to die.

Check the EVE forums 'want to sell' section for 'standings gain services'. It will costs you a billion or so but there's a bunch of people there who will raise your standing with whatever faction(s) you want so that you can dive straight into L3/4 missions.

Is it really a billion? I guess having to have some newb in your fleet would get annoying, esp if they don't log on or something. Corp standings are so much cheaper, usually 150M to 350M. *pets his Caldari Navy 9.69 corp standing*

About a week in I fitted a Condor with warp speed rigs. Finding a rep from the Archives division might be a good idea.

Not exactly, just throwing a figure in the air because their rates depend on what your beginning and ending standings are but it is a minimum of something like a couple of hundred million.

Thing about courier missions is that they can be done very quickly so you can get 16 done in order to get a storyline mission and raise faction rep. I do them sometimes using a blockade runner as it has very fast warp speed and good align times

I accidentally declined a storyline mission last night. It was a courier mission so my natural reaction was "decline!". Then I realised it was storyline....

Will I be able to go back to the agent and get the quest again?

I looked up blockade runners and don't really feel like dumping 90m isk on one, still need to get that Orca.

Another thing, these l1 missions I'm "grinding" wouldn't so bad if docking/undocking/warping/acceleration gating didn't take so long! I spend more time doing mundane stuff like that, than spent in actual combat.

Once you hit decline it's gone - good news is that courier missions aren't worth as much in terms of faction standing gain so you didn't lose out all that much

I use blockade runners a lot they're _very_ fast for courier missions (warp speed of 9 AU/s as compared to frigs with 3 AU/s) and can cloak to hide

Also watch out for storyline missions that are part of a chain (e.g. 1 of 3, etc) - only the last one gives the faction standing gain so it's easy to decline the earlier ones without realising
