PvP Queue Times

I see a few people stating that they are choosing a certain faction because of BG queue times. That Defiant have long queue
times and Guardians don't. My experience is not exactly the same. The first few times I queue'd for BGs, I had a 10-20 minute
wait, but later in the day I was getting 4 minute queue times while playing Defiant. I'm not playing at 4AM and I'm basing all of this
off of beta phase 5 and this current phase.

I'm just saying it's a little early to make claims on how long BG queue times will be at level cap.

I will ahve to agree with Fenril, as i remember even saying that myself, in regards to pvp queue times being better for guardian. But testing Defiant on 2 servers now to level 15, queue times were about the same maybe a few seconds longer then what i was use to on the guardian side.

Good luck with that! The queue times are based on over all reports of how long que times are. So it is just more of an educated guess that that trend Will continue when the game goes live.

That being said. its not a bad thing to have to wait for queues for some. You can quest while you wait, do Rifts or tradeskills. But for me, having queues be very short to instant is important. When I'm in the mood to grinding BGs, i like to do them back to back. But thats just me.

There is also a perception that Defiant win most the time. I have found this to be the case as well. So longer queue times, but more wins? Depends on how much favor ( rift honor ) you get for win/loss i guess.

yesterday during the last day of the beta, in the morning i was getting 1min que times. later on towards the end of the beta (8am pst) que times were between 16 to 22 min.

How are your queue times Defiant, I'm just curious if it is working out the same as in beta. Guardians on Alsbeth have near instant queues, how about you guys over on D side of Alsbeth? With the larger player pool now, it might be good on both sides?

Perhaps someone else will be able to report this. In the end, I decided to play another game instead of RIFT. :)

So far, as Guardian on Lotham, my queue times are instant. The same second I click Join, I'm able to join the Warfront. It's been like this every single time in the 10-19 bracket during primetime.

I've seen a few queues up to 30 seconds, but it's very rare. Mostly they are instant.
