MMO Champion is collecting all the blue posts about the upcoming 2.4 patch.

Some things I see that apply to multi-boxing, or will affect us more than other players

No more avoiding spell haste on Shaman? Yay !
* Spell Haste: Spell haste now reduces the global cooldown on spells,
down to a minimum of 1 second. This change does not apply to melee and
ranged abilities.

Nerf to income, perhaps?
* Once every 24 hours, through Enchanting (not Alchemy) you'll be able to
split a Void Crystal into two Large Prismatic Shards. This is through a
new recipe that's being added in 2.4.

Depends on stats but these could be nice for gearing up new 70s...
* Players will now be able to purchase level 70 Superior quality PvP items from reputation vendors in Outland.

More notes are coming, so keep an eye out. I'll post in the full 2.4 notes here when they are released by Blizzard.

That shard one will be nice...I've de'd alot of kara gear as I've progressed and can use tons of large prismatics to enchant new pieces, I've only needed voids once, and that was just to upgrade my enchanting rod for Executioner lol

My guild bank has around 100 void crystals in it... if we can split those into large prismatics they'll actually be valuable.

I see this as an initial income hit as LPS drop in price, but a long term bonus as Void's balance it out.

We've reached a point where we're now confident that applying diminishing returns to honor is no longer necessary, and we're currently planning to remove it with the 2.4 patch.

What the removal of diminishing returns means for you is that as soon as you defeat an opponent that rewards you honor, you will receive that honor, and you will be able to spend it right then. There will no longer be an estimate, and you will no longer need to wait until the next day until you can actually spend it. Your achievements through honor-based PvP will be instantaneous.

Agreed. I think this will also help out the AV situation on Stormstrike.

The complaint the alliance had was that they'd come out with a guaranteed loss for 0 honor due to reinforcements. Now, at least we'll get decent honor from the horde turtle defense. Suvega and I went in AV a few times last week and he had much fun AOEing everyone.
