Hey

Since Rift is Open beta currently I was thinking how to use ISboxer for this "Rift is not on the list of games"
And how does the macro system really works

If anyone can make a short guide of how to set it up, and show alitle ingame action..

I would appreciate it

Headed off to work. I'll be home in 12-13 hours. If nobody has typed anything up for you then I'll lay it down.

you need to use the dev build of innerspace for Rift

Are you familiar with the basics of using Innerspace & ISBoxer? Or are you looking for a fully detailed guide?

As you mentioned "Rift is not on the list of games", it is with the new update.

Update IS to developmental build by Right-Clicking the IS Icon in the System Tray (after you've started IS), and selecting Configure.
From the IS Window that pops up, select "Use Developmental Patch" (or something like that). Click Apply. You may need to close IS and re-run it. It will update.

Update ISBoxer to version 38 (I think). The option to Update ISBoxer should come up automatically when starting it. If it doesn't prompt you to update, there should be a link to updates within ISBoxer, on the Bottom-Right window right after you've started ISBoxer.

Let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do from work.

If you already updated to 38 and don't see it, you need to reinstall the latest version again. For some reason I had updated, but it wasnt available untill i re-installed.

You actually don't need the dev build anymore -- the dev build is currently the same build as the live build, since the day before ISBoxer 38 went live :)

If you have an earlier build of ISBoxer 38, Rift wasn't yet in the list of games in the first drop-down box in the Quick Setup Wizard, or in the Virtual File Wizard. The most current build of 38 is from Feb 16, 2011, so any fresh downloads since then are the latest version ;)

To add Rift to Inner Space (for use in the Game and Game Profile fields in the wizard), select Add Game from the Inner Space menu. Point it at riftpatchbeta.exe in your Rift folder, with no parameters necessary. Once the game is released, an actual detection will be added to Inner Space.
