Hello,

I have a couple of questions about ISBoxer.

The first is about the new Video Feed feature. I won't be able tot est it soon so I just wondered if it can work in conjunction with a repeater region as per the following example:

DK+4 Paladin Team, I create one video feed region on top of every exorcism button, so I can see on the DK when it procs in a specific paladin (on the dk, I'll see them side by side, on each paladin they'll be in different locations). I create a repeater region at exactly the same spot (again, one for each paladin).
When I see the proc, I click and the repeater region sends it to the correct client. It'd be awesome :)

The other question is if it's possible (and if it is, how) to make it so:

1) A step will only move to the following after a specific amount of time;

and/or

2) A step will only move to the following after the macro within it has done its full cycle (that can for example consist of a 4 spell cast sequence).

Thanking you in advance for your help.
A.

Just remember: the cursor wont be translated into the spot shown by the video feed, repeater is still going to work like before just with the video feed showing ;)

A Click Bar might be more appropriate than a repeater region, since you can tell it to do whatever you want when you click (e.g. fire off a spell in that window), and can do different combos. A repeater region would require something right there in the other window

1. there's a checkbox at the top of each Step when setting up your Mapped Keys, which says Do not advance. That's what this is for

2. WoW does not provide or allow a method to receive feedback from a castsequence or cooldowns, so you will need to plan accordingly (when estimating for "Do not advance", for example)

Thank you very much for all the answers Lax.
Regarding this one and as I told I'm asking because I'm not able to test it atm, what if/is it possible that the video feed zone is placed with a repeater region on top of it and matching the exact spot where the button is on the destination client? That's would have the exact same effect I'm looking for (to simulate like all "needed" buttons just "look" like they're on the main client window, and just click them and produce the correct, expected visual/game output).

Cheers,
A.

To be absolutely clear I'll say it in a few different ways...

Any Video Feed output is just a video on top of everything else in the window, and does NOT have an effect on the mouse or mouse broadcasting. If you combine a Video Feed with Repeater, what you get is your Repeater Region working exactly as before, but with a Video Feed on top of it showing whatever you want. The Repeater Region and the Video Feed are unrelated and will not join together to form a mighty video repeater region samurai edition.

I have very specifically NOT implemented translating the cursor to a user-defined location in any of ISBoxer's functionality: http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/GM_Conversations#Mouse_Movements
