Yea, i started that thread ( I'm Swyft) I tried to keep it a non debate, but i was naive for thinking that could happen. People are just so hateful! I ended up getting sucked into debating lol.. oh well, I'm done debating.. ill keep watching the thread to see if we get a miracle dev post.

We have never implied that we would not allow multi-boxing. As long as the accounts are being run manually, we do not have a problem with it.

That being said, remember that you are responsible for all actions on each of your accounts. Harassment/griefing rules still apply. So, if a person is going to harrass someone with 5 characters at a time, that will be dealt with accordingly.

As of now, there are no restrictions or rules against multi-boxing.

well this means we need to all decide on a server to claim our own! so once game goes live mosg2, Mokoi and myself will be all starting on the same server im sure we will post which one it is. Def will be a pvp server tho ^^

I'm playing on a PvE server for sure. There will be enough options for PvP on both types, but I prefer to be left alone when I'm questing or grinding rifts 8)

We will have a few days at the end of open beta before the game goes live. headstart opens a few days early. We can discuss what PvE and PvP servers people will choose in that down time, when we have a list of launch servers.

Any use of the Service or a Game Client in violation of the License Limitations will be regarded as an infringement of Trion’s rights in and to the Site, a Game and/or the Service. You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:
use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the Game experience;
exploit the Game or any of its parts, including without limitation the Service, for any commercial purpose, including without limitation (a) use at a cyber cafe, computer gaming center or any other location-based site without the express written consent of Trion; (b) for gathering in-game currency, items or resources for sale outside the Game; or (c) performing in-game services in exchange for payment outside the Game, e.g., power-leveling;
use any unauthorized third-party software that intercepts, “mines,” or otherwise collects information from or through the Game or the Service, including without limitation any software that reads areas of RAM used by the Game or the Service to store information about a character or the game environment; provided, however, that Trion may, in its sole and absolute discretion, allow the use of certain third party user interfaces;
modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game Client or the Service in any way not expressly authorized by Trion;
host, provide or develop matchmaking services for the Game or the Service, or intercept, emulate or redirect the communication protocols used by Trion in any way, for any purpose, including without limitation unauthorized play over the internet, network play, or as part of content aggregation networks;
facilitate, create or maintain any unauthorized connection to the Game or the Service, including without limitation (a) any connection to any unauthorized server that emulates, or attempts to emulate, the Service; and (b) any connection using programs or tools not expressly approved by Trion;
violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of the Game Client or the Service; or
disrupt or assist in the disruption of (i) any computer used to support the Service (each a “Server”); or (ii) any other player's Game experience. ANY ATTEMPT BY YOU TO DISRUPT THE SERVICE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME CLIENT MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.
To me, section A states UNAUTHORIZED 3rd party software. I guess this list could be updated to whatever programs they don't want. Kinda meh
**EDIT - I've seen this wording before, and I'm fairly certain it is targetting mods that alter textures for use with Pixel Bots, and so forth, as Pixel Bots wouldn't fall under Section C (Pixel Bots do not interact with Game memory space).


Section C spells out what 3rd party software is banned, and very clearly directed at Botting Software, and not at all pointing to Software Multiplexers.

Yeah, 100% that was in. I put in a ticket on forums about it. Got their reply and that was basically the issue. It may have been a form letter but it was a well written one basically saying if that was in error, please contact them so they can open my account up to post again.

Just haven't got around to the pre-order. I'll have to read up and figure whih I'll do if there's different rewards for reserving it at different places.
