Old World Content

After reaching 70 with your team, is there Old World (i.e. Azeroth) content that you consider a "must go back and do" ... either for fun or for actual gain? Like certain dungoens, or quests, or getting keys/attunements, rep, etc ... or just to see things you missed along the way.

I skipped a lot of stuff in the old world on my way up. Is there anything essential that I ought to go back and do?

I've heard rumors that Argent Dawn rep might make a comeback in WotLK, so I've been doing a few Strat runs and EPL quests that I skipped on my way up to 70.

See how they handle Sunwell, that it is not affected by Aldor/Scryer.

Nothing is worth going back to in the old land. Unless you want to go to STV and mess with the lowbies :) because that is always fun.

My plan (at level 59), is to finish questing in Winterspring, EPL, WPL and Silithus, then move on to Hellfire and finish all the quests there for the gear, then going back and finishing BRD, Scholo, DM, BRS, Strat.

I've missed most of the instance content while leveling up my main, so with my team I'm planning on completing them all as I go. Just for the enjoyment of knowing that I've completed and seen all the old world content. :)

once i gear up at 70 im going to have a crack at ony, if i cant do it ill get the help of a tank and healer todo it with me.

I don't know if it was just a rumour but I'm failry sure I read somewhere on the main EU boards that Naxxramas was going to be updated either with WotLK or in a content patch after WotLK was released. Whether or not they change the ardent dawn to a differnt faction or if they keep it as it is now I couldn't say. But I know of several guilds who do periodic Strat/Scholo runs in the expectation of needing that rep in the future.

I'm going on my third night into BRD (I am doing it in stages). I made sure to get all the quests lined up for max efficiency. My main is a Pally (so also an engineer) - so I also went there to get the Repair Bot plans. I plan on running every instance at least once - just to prove that I can, I guess. I don't even go back for "uber loot" since everything will be tossed away after a few quests in Hellfire.

Large Brilliant Shards. They sell well and are still in demand and you can solo instances that drop them, such as scholo, just with 1 70(assuming you can deal with the magic immune skeles and can survive the one boss who hits like a truck even when you're 70 and I don't mean Rattlegore)

I'd key for ony too just to run it for shits and giggles, or to gank the lowbies in stormwind if you're alliance with the ony dragon spawns ;) There's also a few enchants in there, one in LBRS in particular I think you might want to get

I haven't seen any 5-boxing reports of people running MC or Onyxia... Onyxia is pretty easy for L70 5man group nowadays...

I have never seen drenaei shamans sporting any t1/t2 before so i wanna try and get them some ;)

Forgot to say in my other post in reply to OP apart from one or two 70 instances I so far much prefer the old world instances. I'd love to be able to run them as they were meant to be done. And while soloing most/all is possible with my 70 that does make them a little boring.
