I was thinking I might have to spec my unholy DKs final points into Endless Winter for the runic free mind freeze. What Im finding is that I can't kill Baron Ashbury because I can't count on my DKs have 20 Runic to interrupt. Also I have to interrupt his Pain and Suffering because it will kill someone if they are less than 80% because I can't keep up with the damage he puts out as the dot goes on.

Anyone have a genius idea that I never thought of? I have Mind Freeze on round robin with my 4 DKs, but if one dies it breaks the sequence. Wish ISboxer were smart and skip the one that died for the next interrupt. Guess it really doesnt matter, because if you have one DK dead you probably wont have the DPS to kill him.

i dunno about you, but i cant even get close to getting this guy down lol.

That being said, YES you almost NEED to have the imp mind freeze talent no matter what spec you choose. That or you need to setup your 2 step to not include any runic power skills and just put those on an easy to mash button and spam it every few minutes. :)

I almost killed him, but he did Pain and Suffering on a guy that was low health and he died. Turns out he was the next one for Round Robin mind freeze so boss killed next guy too.

I thought Blizzard nerfed Baron Ashbury's self healing:

Orgianal quote from the 4.0.6 release note
Shadowfang Keep

Baron Ashbury

Sadly, in his hubris he has forgotten how to Mend Rotten Flesh.

Lord Godfrey

He should now face a random target when casting Pistol Barrage.

Lord Walden

Conjure Poisonous Mixture now deals more initial damage.
Frost Mixture is now area-of-effect damage.
Toxic Catalyst now deals less damage over time.

Anyway, I was able to down him before the patch by using bloodelf's Arcane Torrent on rotation. I also watched his health very closely, and the pattern is that he will use "Mend Rotten Flesh" at 50%, 33%. Depending on your dps, if your dps is good enough, he only heals himself twice (50% and 33%).

Here is a list of options to interrupt his self healing, and it could be helpful for the encounter:

"
■Bear Druid: Skull Bash. Cooldown reduced to 10 seconds with Brutal Impact
■Boomkin Druid: Solar Beam
■Cat Druid: Skull Bash
■Blood Elf: Arcane Torrent
■Death Knight: Mind Freeze
■Markmanship Hunter: Silencing Shot
■Hunter with a Gorilla: Pummel Note that gorillas are tenacity pets, and terrible for damage-dealing.
■Mage: Counterspell
■Protection Paladin: Hammer of Justice with the Vindication talent. The interrupt portion is going away in 4.0.6.
■Protection Paladin: Avenger's Shield
■Retribution Paladin: Sacred Shield
■Shadow Priest: Silence
■Rogue: Kick. With the short cooldown and the fast rogue global cooldown, this is the best interrupt.
■Shaman: Wind Shear
■Warlock with a Felhunter: Spell Lock
■Warrior with a shield in Defensive Stance or Battle Stance: Shield Bash
■Warrior in Berserker or Battle Stance: Pummel
"
However, the last boss will be painful for me now after the patch, since he could oneshot my dps or healer if I don't dance right.

He doesnt mend flesh anymore, however Stay of Execution does heal him. Also I'm more worried about Pain and Suffering killing one of the DPS or healer. It's a very nasty DoT.
