I recently started click healing and i love it. I'm having a couple problems with it though. I run a mixed four melee team plus a holy priest. I control from the tank and send the click to window five (priest). I have the region set to ignore the local click (kvm mode?). Anyway, these are my issues:

1. When i turn on broadcast (repeat), such as for completing quests the mouse icon no longer shows up on toons two through four. I have to switch to one of them before turning broadcast on otherwise it wont work right.

2. Sometimes (fairly often, actually) when i click heal from the paladins window the mouse will continue to broadcast in the priests window even after moving the pointer OUTSIDE the repeater region. This has caused several wtf wipes. The regions are synced and identical.

Any ideas what is causing these issues? I guess i can live with the broadcaster issue and just switch windows since you dont have to turn in quests (mixed team!) very often. But i really want to fix the mouse issue with the repeater region.

Thanks.

Not sure on either of those.
I'd suggest including your pastebin of your configuration.

Go to file, copy profile to clip board.
Be sure the box to omit your account names is checked (default).
Paste it on www.pastebin.com
Edit the link into your post.

Back in the day if you made your repeater region too 'tight' around the unit frame(s) you wanted to broadcast from, the other
windows that would receive the fake cursor might have that cursor get 'stuck' on said unit frame(s) essentially messing up
keymaps. I'm sure that might be a little confusing, but try to make your repeater region slightly larger than the unit frame(s)
itself while making sure that it's not overlapping onto another unit frame.

If any of that makes sense......

When you first launch WoW, and each time you zone, the cursor is "reset" and you end up having to switch to each window at least one time before it shows up right.

Make sure you don't have 2 overlapping repeater regions or something?

What people are starting to do now is to do this with a Click Bar instead of with a Repeater Region. With a Click Bar, it's not going to mess with the state of Repeater at all, you just end up syncing the cursor when you click instead of as you move the mouse. See http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=30511&page=2 starting at post #15 (my post) which is followed by screenshots of how Jafula set his up. My current setup with Click Bar healing is basically described in this blog post: http://joethemultiboxer.com/2010/11/wow-4-0-1-and-me/ (http://joethemultiboxer.com/2010/11/wow-4-0-1-and-me/).

Consider moving over to a click bar system as Lax suggests. It's far more flexible than a repeater region and, if you're feeling adventurous, you can do away with the click heal addon entirely:

I'm going to try that, thanks for linking that thread...I couldn't think of a keyword to search for the other night. There's been too many times my paladin will run off at a critical point because I right clicked for flash heal, and he decided to click-to-move instead.

Lax & fenril,

Thanks for the advice. Alt-tabbing through each window once after starting a group fixed the issue. I will eventually go to a click bar though because grid looks awful when i have a pet class in my group.

Probably because when that window comes into focus your real mouse takes over and it becomes 'unstuck.' Instead of alt-
tabbing, you should just be able to flip on mouse repeater from your main screen and move the slave windows' cursors to a
safe and open position before turning it back off. That will reset them.
