Hey boss, I've just dropped a dime on my system and upgraded the video card, ram, etc... unfortunately it looks like to 5 box and continue using Vista I need to upgrade to an Intel cpu/mainboard... The other option is to roll back to XP, however since my monitors aren't the same size (1680x1050 & 1280x1024) the dual view option in XP isn't an option...

Ideally I'd like the PiP option with hotkeys to switch between them, but even if I just ran 5 copies on 1 box with F1-F5 set to bring each window to the front would be quite sufficient... do you have any ETA on either of these features? Would a cash or beer bribe escalate either? :) .

Edit: Really the Hotkey bring to front would be more than fine for what I need... I could just run all 5 copies at 1680x1050 and use F1-F5 to bring the one I needed focus'd into focus...

hey zanthor,

i have an old college buddy in town this weekend for the superbowl... so.. err... coding level drops as beer level increases ;)

but hey... beer bribes? i'm all for it!

seriously, pip is about 50% there... main issue left is the flipping and resolutions. after that, it's saving the settings and done. most likely an eta of next week is probably 85% accurate

I've never had a problem with different sized monitors on XP running together. At one point I had one XP machine with 3 monitors (19" standard @ 1152x864, 20" standard @ 1280x1024, 27" wide @ 1920x1200) and had no problems.

Since you can't Span a 1280x1024 monitor with a 1680x1050 monitor...
