I recorded this tonight to show you the fight including the first wipe on phase 4 where i wipe in nearly record time. My video editing skills totally suck, so you'll see the video skip around 5:40 where I wiped - and then there's the ending credits. haha - that's some leet editing skills there. :D

1st phase is easy mode - bring the mage to an easy spot to mitigate aoe knockback.

2nd phase easy mode - grab the staff, equip on shammy, and then buff your team.

3rd phase - burn mage, rogue, hunter, and warrior. Kill mage first (I popped wings to down her quickly)

4th phase - hardcore mode - up to 50% - Burn all cooldowns, pop bloodlust, and I found that popping army of the dead makes this fight so much easier.

5th phase - 50% to 0 - easy mode tank and spank.

Neat fight, I remember doing that with my progression guild.
Took a lot of attempts to get him down, back when you needed him before you had access to T6 content.
I think we were 3rd on the server to down him.

I think I liked the SSC zone more then TK.
But Kael > Vashj as far as the final fight.

I remember doing this long ago but I cannot remember how to get to him. Is there a direct path to this guy? Do you need to down any bosses on the way to him?

Great job! Your vid made me go try it. I'm gald you posted it and thanks for doing so.

The fight seemed pretty easy to be honest. Maybe I just got lucky. Took 5 dps, 1 tank and 1 priest. 2 got MCd, just ignored them, did not use the dagger and it still went smooth. 1 character died, but it never seemed like I was in trouble.

Anyone with 5 chars should do this weekly for a chance at the best mount in the game. Plus, it's a nice break from farming BoT epics and Heroics.

You can go right to him. Go straight ahead to the big circular room with Al'ar, go up the ramp and through the door, make the first left and there he is. Takes about 15 minutes to do the entire thing. The travel to Tempest Keep is the only pain of it, but really not that bad.

He's unlocked (same as Vashj) now.
You don't need to clear the other bosses to open access.

Well I did this today. It took awhile to figure out how to handle it. I kept getting owned by the MC phase. I had another guy come in and lucky for us he mc'ed my pets and the extra guy. This allowed me to dps him down to start the last phase. I would recommend if you have anything that pops pets do it on that phase. He MC's 2 people so pray its pets and not your dps. A great tip for the staff is put /use 16 in your toons macro who picks it up. This way everyone always has the buff up. To bad paladins cannot use daggers or we could break the MC with the dagger.

Me and my friend's guild on Kil'Jaeden horde (Velocity Made Good) ran this today and we got an ashes drop. I used my mixed group team (Pally/Mage/Shaman/Druid/Priest) and my friend brought his ten warlocks. The fight was kind of a mess but overall something we should be able to do each week.

Those were my DKs, I had a lot of fun out there - we had some great fights. Reminds me of the days in the Isle of Qual whatever.

Man, some of the alliance were MAAAAAADDDDD at you guys - lol. They wanted your heads on a stick!

There was a LOB 10 boxer there for a bit, but he left (Merc!). Then a mage friend came over, and later a priest friend came over to help out. Then all the random people.

Anyway, that was a blast, it was fun steamrolling, and getting steamrolled.

I could probably do that all day, but I do feel bad just randomly killing people doing quests. But sometimes that's the only way you can get people upset enough to get a gang together and get a big war going.

I watched your vid and I don't know what has changed but this is not doable anymore.

I get to phase three use the staff and still and conflagarated and arcaned blasted all over. my 340ish team of 3 ele shams 1 resto druid and a pally tank get owned. I cannot kill the mage fast enough and then the others are fearing silencing and all sorts of stuff the tremor tots dont even work against it. I pop bloodlust just on the mage pop raciials and mastery i cannot get off one round of lava burst crits and a lightining blot before i am confalgarated and blasted back. The staff doesnt even work as far as im concerned. I grew bored with it after 6 attempts and left. A mount that probably will never drop is not worth that headache. I dont even know how you kill the mage that fast because she would have blasted you back and confagarated you in about 2.9 secs after she became able to aggro on you. They changed something.
