I ask, as my wife wanted to know about one for her laptop, as an extra screen for when she is doing her own thing.

It got me to wondering, if they would work as a kind of throw away screen, if one wanted to go from say 5 accounts to 10 accounts, and still have good screen area.

For example, Doublesight has 2 models, a 7" and a 9", but they don't offer any information on if their drivers allow for gaming.

If so, the next question would be, Does ISBoxer/Keyclone pick them up? I imagine hotkey.net would, but even then, I'm not sure.

Thanks again, for indulging all of my questions for this last week guys.

I have 2 of the Samsung Picture frames (SPF-105P) that double as usb screens. Unfortunately Samsung have never released 64 bit drivers for them, so i have been limited to running them on old xp machines.

from what other people have stated they will not run any 3d accelleration, as the usb bus doesn't have enough throughput, but they are ok for browsing, running media players etc..

I thought of one as a place to put a download meter (http://www.hageltech.com/dumeter/about) and a GPU meter (http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/). Also wanted it to be touch screen so I could use it as a key broadcaster for stuff that I don't use that often that I don't want to waste a keybind on stuff that I use once an hour or once a day: hearthstone, set focus, logout, exit game, start game, etc. It would be nice to see a "key" that you would be pushing. These are the ones I looked at (http://www.mimomonitors.com/).

Theres an ipad app created by a dual boxer. Heres a writeup about it. Ive never used it but it sounds like it would do what youre wanting - having an additional screen you can have limited interaction with.
