Argaloth Down (Baradin Hold Raid Boss) [Archive]

Pinot and I downed Argaloth tonight before the reset.

I've got to say, this is perfectly designed to be easy for two 5-boxers. Our guys were on follow the entire time, only had to move around twice during the fight. It is much harder for 10 solo players to figure out how to group a tank, healer, and three DPS on either side of the boss and stick together the whole time - for those of us who box all that comes quite naturally. :) Wasn't easy, but he went down on the first try after we added a feast and flasks to the strategy.

Anyway, thought I'd share and post a pic.

We were excited to get him down.

Unfortunately, he dropped two PvP items: http://www.wowhead.com/item=60453 and http://www.wowhead.com/item=60455, which is sad, because we never PvP with these characters.

Fortunately, I actually did have a druid in the raid at the time, and both items happened to be Boomkin items, so equipping them gives him the +70 int set bonus, so they may actually be a PvE upgrade over his ilvl 246 hands and pants. I just need to reforge a portion of all that wasted resil. :eek:

Aslong as your dps are doing 10k dps he goes down quick... just move during fel storm and he's a cake walk :)

Sadly you cannot reforge resil. Atleast when you guys downed him you got usable loot. Instead of 2 pieces of some random junk you don't need like the normal BH run.
