How to press the key?

I have an quite stupid question.
When you use one or two key macro, are you just use your figer to continuce press the keyboard several times per second? or using some tools to continuce to send the key press to the windows with some loop function?
I am not sure this kind of tool is legal or not?

It's not legal to have something "hit" the key for you. One key press/one action = your finger hitting the key each time.

Well, I figure cheek/nose/cheek would be 3 key presses, 3 actions :P

If you have IS Boxer or HKN, you can set it so:

Press 1 of key 'A' = Outputs the keybind for Macro 1.
Press 2 of key 'A' = Outputs the keybind for Macro 2.

If you're using something else, put them on two nearby keybinds.
1 and 2, for example.
And just alternate which key you push.
