Lots of instance entering DCs the last two days!

has anyone else been having a lot of trouble with instance servers? I'm seeing a lot of DCs on enter and a lot of waiting at the load screen for three minutes and then "instance could not be found".

Right now I just tried to get into botanica, 4 toons DCed, one got in... three more then got in on their second try but my healer is hanging on the load screen.

Yes this weekend was pretty bad for me, mostly in the evenings.

I had one episode where I got called away boxing in SFK , so eventually got disconnected, logged back in and couldn't get back in game, got the"unable to find instance server" or some such.

Kept trying and eventually got my team back in though some ended up finally logging in Westfall of all places.

Later that night I had latency over 4 secs on some chars, (not others).

Last night I had issue zoning out of a dungeon after clearing it, eventually got my team back to stormwind, (took 15mins), then queued for VP and while I could see all my chars at zone in, only one char made it past the load screen.

killed everything, tried again, and got 4 out of 5 in and kept trying with the 5th and eventually got him in as well.

(through all this rebooted router and machine just incase).

Another friend of mine was having the same issue single boxing.

We both were on Anvilmar and use Frontier FIOS. He tried playing on another server and had no issues. Not sure what is going on.

FYI, all Outland instances have a much higher potential to DC you when zoning in, ESPECIALLY Heroics. Dunno why. Blizzard knew about it then, and there was a "hot fix" for it at one time. I too hadnt had the zone DC in over 2 years, since BC... but I do recall running stuff in the coilfang with an 85, farming Primal Life, getting DCd

Doubtful if it was zone/expansion related, all my stuff was in Cata or eastern kingdoms. Friend was in WotLK zones/eungeons when he was having issues. He got in the game ok, but when his queue popped for a Wrath dungeon he got stuck at the loading screen.

I also noticed when I was having issues, when I would log in , the little sequence after password, authentication, finding server, getting characters would take much longer. (At the time I had no other network issues to other games/sites).

All in all though it was most annoying :)

You never know though.
Since Cataclysm has launched, with the exception of cities (which are 100%), it is a 50/50 chance that any given inn gives rested experience and an instant log out when you /camp.
Prior to Cataclysm, all the inns camped out without this issue.

Oh sorry,

I meant I didn't think it was related to say being in say BC areas. Definitely is a new thing for me, so could certainly have been introduced with the expansion or subsequent patch.
