Hey guys not sure how many folks remember me from tail end of TBC and into WoTLK, I went by Poolboy on the old boards. Used to hang in IRC a whole lot with xzin/gurb/fur/etc. I haven't boxed in ages but I'm thinking of firing up even just a single slave again maybe just for farming or a little pvp support.

I have no idea if my Keyclone still works or if I have my info etc lol, I would assume it's still a pretty awesome program and just as easy to use as it once was? Maybe my biggest issue off the top of my head I'm not sure how to deal with is the complex phasing that Cata is built upon. Shouldn't really be an issue until 80, but at that point is my main going to constantly lose my slave to phasing every 50ft and render quest boosting near impossible?

Well, anyways I have a ton of reading to do here today to see if I should dive back in, I really just wanted to (re)introduce myself and see if anyone I knew was still hanging around =)

Cheers,
Poolboy

Phasing starts to be an issue as soon as you hit 77 in northrend. When you get into stormpeaks, icecrown and crystalsong. Before that I can't recall any issues. I haven't run the new 1-60 quest content as a boxer, but phasing should be annoying there as well.

Assuming your toons have done the same quests, so they have access to the same phase; follow will usually break. Which is an annoyance, but I learned to deal with it after a while.

Welcome back. Why bother to start a brand new account when you've got one that people would know you by?

I dont think I've ever even visited the new forums it's been that long, I just kind of assumed I'd need to fire up a new user/pass. I guess I could pump in a few email addresses I have used over the years and see if they send me my original login lol.

I'd PM you but I can't because of forum restrictions, try your mountaincable e-mail. If you can't access that anymore, an admin
can change your old account's e-mail address after you jump through their hoops of verification.

Phasing is also an issue in the new starting zones from what I could tell. However, I didn't have much of a problem with it once i got to the contested areas. Phasing isn't a Huge issue, it's just more of an annoyance is all.

I see this often. I box 5 accounts. All 5 turn in quests at the same time, and all 5 skip the same ones. I have no phasing issues while boxing. I have seen, or not seen, lol, persons in guild, or on f list that are there or not there, when summoned in or I fly in 5 toons.... so what? if any of the opposite faction decide to attack one, its 5v1, and we all know how that works out.
