Ratings inflation

When I started the current arena season, MMR was inflated and it was going up too fast. Blizzard claimed that they have fixed the problem. But I am still getting the feeling that 2200 ratings this season are not the same as 2200 ratings from last season.

With just 64 wins, the team is 2726 rating. Assume that they lose 0 from those 17 losses. They've earned on average 42 pts on every single win. How is that possible. or I am not looking at it right.

The druid's 2 v 2 team is even crazier.

with 21 wins, it is at 1953. That's 92 points per win.

yes with the 'fix' they changed the mmr/ratings. When I started a fresh team and mmr was 2500 when we won we got 90 something points per win and were within our mmr in 30-40 games

Also valarath is prob the best pvp player ever(mo) in wow and flexx is a beast- they are who I copied. Flexx streams alot and they blow people up fast.

hm, I guess they are just that good. Destroyed everyone in the battle group at high level. So it is kinda like a special case.

nope, its what happens now when you restart a team. You can play alot less games to get to your mmr now. Try it.

Aye and.....its made point selling so much easier now and holy hell has win trading become more popular in 2s/3s. They fubar'd the queue because you get the same team alot more now. Not to mention blizzard only shows the top 200 and no longer shows match history,

Well that's ok. not like there is any reward there anyway. Merely a weapon that is slightly better than the one you already have. If they want it that bad, they can have it with win trades or buying ratings.

I am with ya.

The only reason I can think of is getting the max points for the week to gear out quicker? I know getting 2800 points on tues is better than 1343.
