:):) Howdy! :):)

I'am looking for some help. First let me explain my setup. I'am using ******** , on a 4 Boxing shammie team. At the moment they are all level 75 and i'am having a BLAST! Follow, focus, assist macros are no problem but i am having issues with being able to turn my alts in the direction of my Leads target when they get past a point. So what i'am looking for i guess is a macro, bind setup or something that will allow my Alts to at least turn in the direction of the target i have set on my Lead.

Any help with this problem would be amazing and most welcomed :D

(p.s) If you can try to explain it as simply as possible xD still new at this <3

So I assume that they are four casters and a tank, you engage some mobs with the tank and the casters blast away the mobs. But then the unthinkable happens, the casters are feared in every direction or the tank is kicked behind the casters. Or some other earth shattering problem.

Typically i have all the casters follow my warlock or my healer (sometimes one and then the other if its a major fear bomb issue) and then I have the healer or warlock IWT with my tank and then stop moving. This brings everyone back into turret of doom position.

This often happens if your casters are following your tanking during combat (eg, your poor casters are getting cleaved, are actually following your tank when he is feared or kicked and so forth) ... you need to 'drop follow' before combat if this is the case.

The other way using Interact With Target.

Good luck.

:p:p Mooooo!:p:p

Thanks alot guys these are great help for the short game but.. What i'am looking for is something more long term. This item can't be used in arena and has a limited range of 20 yards which of makes it weak vs other casters / melee outside that range. I would love to find a bind setup or anything of the sort that others have found to be quick and functional. I'am sure this is a topic that most dual-boxers have issues with when they first start out.

Thanks alot for all the help so far and future help i'am sure people will find this useful! Keep the ideas and help coming! <3

Either use keybinds such as arrow keys for turning your alts and not your main, or get used to using interact with target on alts (with click to move enabled) followed by a quick tap of a movement key to keep them from running in the direction.
Or keeping them following your main and just following your target around with your main, and your alts will turn toward your main (same thing goes for quick follow and movement key to break it, if in range to follow, but interact with target has longer range than follow, and does not require your main to be by the target to work).

:D:D Aloha! :D:D

First i would like to thank again for the help given to me in this matter. A special thanks to Maxion the setup you have given to me has helped alot. Took me a few minutes to figure it out but i got it and boy dose it help. This will as you said take sometime getting used to but it accomplishes all you would need.

Anyone looking for a Alt turning setup should give this a try! Gives a huge advantage in PvP and PvE.

Those looking for a more clear explanation or have no idea what / where theses options are i will explain.

Interact with Target.
To find this, Open you options tab, click Key Bindings. Scroll down about 3-4 times and you will find it between 2 other options

Interact with Mouseover
Interact with Target <-- is the one you want. ( Now bind this to an available key one of your choosing )
Assist Target

Now that you have Interact with Target found and bound :P time to find Click to move.

Click to Move.
To find this, Open you options tab, click Interface, ( open game tab it not already ), go to Mouse, and on the right side check the box Click to Move.

Now you are almost done. A few things left for you to mess with before you go pwning faces.;)

Your Interact with Target and Click to Move should only be enabled on the toons you wish to have following you. Another thing is that with Click to Move enabled your toons will now auto walk to melee range of the current target you have assisted them to. You will need to also setup a bind on your Alt's that cancel the movement part of the Click to Move. I have chosen to set a Bind to a Movement key Move backward so i can keep them close to where they were. :D

It should go something like this.
Main targets, Alts assist , hit Interact with Target,( Alt will turn and start to move towards your current target ) Quickly hit your bind that stop the Click to move motion. In my case i would hit my Move Backward bind. There you have it you are now facing the target that was once behind you!! :D :D

I really hope this helps anyone having problems with this as i was and Again i would like to Thank all the help!! <3 Maxion

A better PvP solution with a homogeneous team is mouse turning all the accounts. (Caster)

This was a huge problem when I stared boxing... turning. Melee would swam a lot faster than I could keyboard turn. I wanted my mouse back...

Also the best keys I have found to break follow are turn keys. They break the follow, but NOT a cast. See a DK running toward you and don't want your casters following your main for the DeathGrip, just tap turn. You can even set it up to send the key for a fraction of a second (Cant notice the turn because it's so small, but still breaks follow).

IWT + back arrow (assuming you have the arrow keys as your slave movement keys)

Consider making something close to your arrow keys a second IWT keybind.

So! it's been a few days since i was last on and people are still finding this topic helpful it would seem, I'am so glad it helping ^_^. A new option as been stated here by a member Lpwned.

"A better PvP solution with a homogeneous team is mouse turning all the accounts. (Caster)"

This idea has interested me in seeking a Mouse turning idea or setup that people have found to be useful. I personaly run a 4 boxing shammie team and this would be faster ( to me atleast ) then my above stated IWT, CTM, Setup. If anyone has information for this setup It would be more helpful to others and myself :D

THANKS! Keep the help coming guys. :D

Mouse turning is the way to go for a multi shammy team.

For anyone using ISBoxer it can be done easily by making 2 keymaps. The first is MOUSE DOWN and turns on mouse repeating. The second is MOUSE UP and disables mouse repeating. That simple.

Bind it to something that is easy to hold down. I have it bound to my thumb mouse button. So to turn all the accounts, I hold down the thumb button, and then the right mouse button.

Another benefit to this is being able to easily repeat mouse movements for other stuff. I went months without it, and you would not believe how useful it is. Get your UI how you want it on 1 account, and copy all the WTF settings over to all the other accounts so that your UI is the exact same down to the pixel level on each account.

On a side note for when you get this set up; keep in mind that you will not always see all your accounts turning from you main. Keyboard turning always shows up, but mouse turning often will not show your alts facing the correct direction. Just trust that they are indeed facing the correct way.
