Can't get my characters to fly in WOW

My mapped key for 'Jump' is working fine for both characters, but if they are on a flying mount, all they do is hover for a couple of seconds and then touch back down. I am using the default Jump keymap that the wizard gives you. I can't seem to figure out what could be causing this.

Edit: also, on further testing, I've discovered that if they are already in the air, pressing the key won't make them fly higher either. Urg! So frustrating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

What happens when you hold down spacebar on the leader?

On my teams, the leader flies up maybe the height of a building before the others automatically follow up into the air. You dont have your spacebar key reprogrammed somehow to only send the key once (meaning it doesnt appear as if it is held down continuously) do you?

One thing you might want to check is that your "Jump" keymap has "Hold any Keystroke Actions while Hotkey is held" = On

hitting the spacebar while in 3d mode (swimming, flying) breaks follow. Change your keybinds so that the lead jumps with spacebar and the alts with something else (isboxer uses ctrl-spacebar as the default).

Does flying with your mouse work?
