Fastest way to get shamans PvP ready?

Was thinking just using the blue pvp leatherworking pieces (scale something or other) and then slowly buying pvp gear with honor. Is there anything faster, or less expensive? (damn pvp pieces are pricey on the AH)

You could skip the crafted set.
That would be a lot more painful of an honor grind.
But cheaper.

I went with the crafted set.

And am just going to queue AV after AV, but losing constantly sucks.
Not even sure it is worth it.
If the druids shift change on test is something they're actually considering, that will break the class unless they get something major in exchange.
Pretty sure, it is so they can rescind the change, and make druids happy despite losing Berserk vs Fear.

PVP gear is like 5hrs, including queue time, per piece. Given that you won half of your bgs. I find it pretty painful. Mainly because the queuing time is too long. So I just do it with tol barad dailies. Do it when your faction is holding tol barad. And queue BGs around that time. I get 1 pvp piece per day. The crafted set is not that good. and you will be replacing them soon. Better save cash for gem/enchant/(legg enchant is expensive).

85 tol barad token and reverd rep can exchange you a 346 weapon. 125 token + exalted rep can exchange you an epic 359 burst trinket.

Should I stay 84? I noticed it was a lot easier to play in that bracket before I hit 85 on my last guy..

Wouldn't hurt to get honor capped at 84, then at 85 buy the weapons and maybe one piece. But the crafted stuff is miles ahead of the leveling blues/greens as far as pvp is concerned. I got sick of the high prices at the AH so I am leveling my own crafter now so i can make the sets in the future for my other teams.

Honor gain pre 85 is stupid slow. I get more honor @ 10 matches in 85, then I did in all the matches 80-84.

In fact, I almost wouldn't pvp till I got 85.

well I did 84.5 to 85 and have 3k honor, not too bad. I only did AVs and most of them I never died. Was pretty fun and I didnt have to deal with the lag spikes of Twilight Highlands.

64 Heavy Savage Leather (1 heavy = 5 savage leather)
80 Blackened Dragonscale
40 Volatile Fire
20 Volatile life
20Volatile Water.

That's about 4250g for the 8 pieces on my server.

Im working on that now, with honor gains I already have 3 pieces of pvp gear on each shaman.
