Well I decided to go for it, have purchased 1 full account and refered 3 others. Got the 3 upgrades for the trials in the post. At the moment i'm just playin the main toon, until I can get a drake missile boat, while the others are parked in the starting station learning mining to 4 before going onto frigates 4 then cruisers.

Just wondering what the best Caldari Cruiser would be to use for mining until I can get a hulk....?

Will probably take them al through the tutorials seperately and get the starter gear from military and mining, maybe even do advanced military while they're skilling up.

Don't really know what i'm doing yet, but think i'll get the hang of it before too long

Osprey is the Caldari mining cruiser.

osprey is a mean mining machine, expand your cargo and make round trips

Cheers guys.

Just in process of doing ALL the tutorials for each toon to give some starting ISK and a few ships, currently using Merlins until cruisers is trained.

Just 1 question, is there a guide out there to show me how to use ISBoxer to launch multiple instances of Eve?

Might try this, I don't play EVE so I'm not sure how thorough it is.

Two things.

I usually launch EVE instances manually from the IS icon, when I've tried setting it up for multiple launches it seems to go wrong most times.

Please sign up one of your toons to Cybernetic Legion

Edit:

Third thing - Get EVEMon for plannign out your skills

Fourth thing - Don't progress too far in ship sizes as it's rookie mistake to learn battleships ASAP and then not have the ability to tank or DPS. Frigate > Destroyer > Cruiser > BattleCruiser > Battleship is the sensibe progression making sure you can fit a proper tank and use tech 2 guns as well at each stage. The certificate planner in EVEMon is pretty good for lettign you know what skills are useful.

Fifth thing - I've never found mining in a cruiser to be of any use, in my opinion you'd be much more entertained running missions while you train for a hulk.

So far i'm at cruiser while training up various missile skills (looking to get a Drake missile boat for starters).

Probably will just run missions while waiting to get a hulk trained.

Should I do the 'Sisters of Eve' quests after all the tutorials or go the 'Militia Commendation' route?

Sisters of Eve was a ton of traveling but I enjoyed doing the mission arc the first time. IIRC you get more ships and skill books doing it as well.

Cool, thanks.

Now have 650M from selling 2 PLEX's, so time to start the Epic Arc

Just don't feel dissapointed once you've completed the epic arc and discover there's only the vanilla missions left.

Drake is a pretty good choice for a new player as it doesn't need all those pesky gunnery skills.

Yeah, sit back and hit them with heavy missiles :D. Then it's time to start training my Orca skills
