Well I dont really know why, but I hit 84 in WoW (not playing rapidly, so not like I burnt out or anything) and... just dont feel like logging in anymore.
Back come the Eve accounts!
My main dude has 51m SP + 5m from learning skills i havent allocated yet.
My first alt has like 15m SP.
I have 3 other noobs that im training up.
My plan is to build a solid mining group, then work on generic and fitting skills while i mine mine mine, then finally work on pve domination. Dont have a huge interest in PVP.
Im trying to decide whether I should do 4 hulks and 1 dedicated hauler or 4 hulks and 1 orca which boosts + hauls.
My main pilot has maxed mining skills, maxed leadership skills, and i dont think the industrial capital skill is 5 but he can fly an orca...
Just have to do the math and see what would be better.
Anyways, I know there arent many eve players on the site, just throwing it out there.
4 Hulks 1 Orca for boosting and Hauling, is going to be a better bet for you, youll make the best use out of your boosting with a 4 miners.
I use the similar except i use 4 hulks (+1 more hulk in training) and a max boosted Rorqual out in 0.0.

How well does the orca / rorq do at hauling? i wasnt sure if it would be too slow and/or you'd lose too much boosting time while in the station unloading stuff, donno.
Hows the pace handling 4 miners? I see you're going up to 5.. im still trying to find the balance on how many i want...

The Rorqual is a capital ship so low/nullsec only AFAIK most people have it in a bubble as it's too easy to gank it if it's at a belt.
I've got an Orca and with cargo expanders it can fit approx 80K of ore - thats maybe 30 mins of mining from 4 hulks (total guess there, YMMV). It's also damn slow when hauling.
You can use the Orca as a giant jetcan and have a seperate hauler flying back and forth but thats probably less efficient.
I can cope with 4 hulks fairly easily and I'm not that good.

p.s. Don't forget to sign an alt up to Cybernetic Legion

Orca can hold about 86k in main hold, plus 40k in the ore storage, plus around 20k in the corp hangars; if you put cargo expanders and rigs on it.
Itty V is about 38k with rigs and expanders.
Yes, Orca handles like a wheelchair on an ice rink, but I find having to run to the station about once per hour in it better than a non stop Itty V.

As for me, I ended up back in my old pVp corp and am having as much fun as you can with a cast on your lwft hand with computer games ;)

At least you didnt go blind.
ZING
:)
Im gonna look into 0.0 once my alts get a bit heartier, im already to the point where having more than 2 hulks in one high sec belt kind of seems like a waste... cant imagine it with an orca there.

That reminds me, I've got some PVP alts now, would you mind introducing one of them to your PVP corp and which corp is it?

Not at all, but better to do in PMs since spies might be watching ;)

Hey, spies is serious business in Eve. People go as far as getting a separate ISP for a char if they want to be a spy since forums and vent are mined for IPs to compare with know outsiders to find spies.
I suggest this (http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=527) or this (http://www.tentonhammer.com/features/mittani) for further (re)education.

I was thinking of starting back up too....
...until Eve thought I was accessing my accounts from an unfamiliar location. I have no idea what the hell I named my characters.

I suggest loading up evemon ( you did use it right?) and trying the names it has stored on that. Other sources are EFT, EVEHQ and anything like that.

Or rather loading up EveMon's xml config files ;)
But I really loath that protection they are using.

I sent a petition mentioning that I played about 5 accounts, then rattled off some of the account names I remembered. I mentioned the exact month/year I played and that they all should be registered under my name.
Within an hour a GM responded with the accounts they found and with the character names! Damn good support IMO.

It is a stange choice of protection mechanism. Fortunately for me I write down all my account API keys with the account name and character name.

The spy game is what makes people play Eve for sure, always a level of intrigue in everything.
