i was in av and this one guy non stop was telling ppl im gimp cuz i box and to report me half the bg was yelling back at him saying i wanst and i was above him in everything. then the non stop idles came in. so at the end i opened 5 tickets and reported him saying manythings to the gm about how my gameing expeiance was ruined and so on. and if i get the afk system works as intended bs ill contact the ceo i do have his email and the prs email so i will get to the bottem of this bs

ROFL,we created this macro for just such an occasion....
It reports everyone in the BG AFK if they aren't on your realm. So that way you don't report yourself AFK.

/run for i=1,GetNumRaidMembers()-1 do local unit = "raid"..i local name,realm = UnitName(unit) if(realm) then ReportPlayerIsPVPAFK(name.."-"..realm) end end

Couldn't find a Suggestion Forum, so put one in Customer Support.

Basically asking to be immune to AFK Flagging, while pursuing BG objectives.
Such as holding towers/bunkers/graveyards that have not capped, or killing objective NPC's like Belinda/Galv, or running flags, etc.

i do the old jumping casting spells trick and it seems not lost a char in a long time i look on the map a lot see if any of my toons are reported at the end of the day if leave a tower to get my clones then its there bad for reporting me and if there doing it to be a t**t then they sould lose the game

It's hard to do so when you are reported AFK in AV and get kicked out, thus reducing your enjoyment of the part of the game you are attempting to play.

Not trying to sound negative, because most ideas are good ones and have the right intention, but that will make the dun baldar and frost wold keep towers/bunkers the new AV cave. Holding the flag is a good idea though, I have been reported afk in our base in wsg while holding the flag, waiting for horde to drop ours :(

I have always wondered why they can't figure out how to add some fob in-game you could shoot or click or something that would identify you as a player and not a bot. Hell, even a simon-says thingy that you couldn't sniff using process hacks. I feel certain they could figure this out if they were willing to devote some dev resources to it.

they don't care, afk bots still pay subscription and the amount of who would quit if they could no longer do it quickly eclipsed the amount of people willing to quit because of others doing it so it doesn't make sense financially for them to try to truly fix it. but then again they can't even stop the gold seller spam in trade chat so maybe it is just a lack of putting resources into it.

You could put it into a macro.

I made one for IS Boxer.
Chose an obscure hot key, that I won't push accidently... Alt + MR (G15) key.
It will have everyone of my toons run that, if I push the key bind.

On a slightly side note, I got mouse turning working. It also lets me hold the thumb button on my mouse down and click macros like this on all the accounts (Without a repeater zone). Saves lots of keybinds

Use the macro with caution, overuse may be construed as abuse, which may result in action taken by blizz against you. I would only use it if i'm already being attacked by others in the BG, and only if i'm repeatedly getting flagged AFK.

I've used it once.
Only when I was being flagged as AFK when I was not.

The guy kept going on about it.
And then people started to bitch at him, calling him an idiot for reporting them too.

Which absolutely rocked.

Getting reported once, in over 100 games of AV over AV Weekend isn't that bad.
