Good to see wins in WSG.

What approach did you take, and what did the rest of your team do?

it was all rush on first then we had a runner. second i ran it third the runner ran it. my team was abunch of ppl that new how to play and enjoyed the fact i cant die. so what we did was i would controll all the horde and 3 ppl to retrieve our flag if i didnt kill them first and one healer and the runner to hold our flag. the team loved me becuase i new how to play.

Very nice result!

As someone who has never boxed WSG, my first thought would be to use my 5 team to defend the flag room, is there any sense in that? or is the risk of being overrun not worth it?

It might work with some comps, but I can tell you on a Ele shaman it doesn’t. 1 AoE stun you cant break, and a druid grabs the flag and is gone.

The most success I've had, is fighting mid-field on their half of the middle.
Primarily acting as flag interception and/or flag escort support.

Overall, this BG has probably been one of the worst to five-box.
So seeing success here is nice.

Most success i had was camping the opposing team's GY for over 50 killing blows on one of my toons and like 30+ on others. One death though. Have a SS somewhere if i can find it i'll post it.

Nice job with a nearly dead team.

lol i tanked it i was higher then i wanted to drop it down while i gear up. but the rets just can survive longer and u dont have to worry about o no there behind me and circling me and so on plus the rets heals are instant cast opness i mean come on 30k+ instant heal ever sec per pally..... nuff said. yes shams have burst and i have 8 sec to kill 2 guys in arena on my dk rets but after one or 2 are dead i can survive till my burst comes back in 45 sec. shamans its burnst ts heal heal heal ts heal burst .. not totally accurate but u get the point.

You react too harshly to words and apparently took them the wrong way. Nearly dead = no one is playing them really, not that they SUCK.

I'm leveling my paladins for fun next actually.

Rogue stealths in, grabs flag, pops clos and sprint and you will never catch him again.
