Q: With the launch of Season 3 for arena's, Season 1 gear became available for honor. My question is - when Season 4 starts, will Season 2 gear be available ... [for honor?]
A: That's the plan Stan. (Subject to change)

It means that Season 1 gear will no longer be available. Season 2 will take its place on the honor vendors for the same price that Season 1 gear is now.
A: This is, also, the plan... Stan. Also not set in stone at the moment, but that's been the idea from the start. New season sets cycle in, the old ones are sloughed off.

Sounds reasonable and what many of us expected from the start, however it does mean we all need to farm our season 1 sets so in wotlk @ 80 we can go old style and be unique ! Hardly anyone has S1 gear anyway ! So it will be rare :O

And when will S4 start then? The next patch is 2.4, it doesn't introduce a new Tier for PvE (no T7) and there isn't a patch planned before WotLK after that. They probably won't introduce a new tier of arena armor until they make a T7 equivalent.

Season 4 with new gear before the expansion? unlikely but possible... guess we wait n see

Like the sets from AQ40 I guess, cloth, leather, mail, plate and different colours...

They should leave season 1 around. and make it hella cheap. That would be great.
