switching teams

So.. as I got a pvp and a pve team, and I play them both, I'm really getting SICK of the things I need to change all the time...
I need to resetup grid, bartender, keybinds.. jamba,

really is annoying, and was wondering if someone of u people got an solution?

when i try the specific charactr keybinds, it seems not to be working at all..

In most addons, there is a profile tab which lets you make different profiles each with different settings, thats the best way to do it i think.

and howbout the keybinds of bartender?

I use an addon called Macaroon for macro and key bindings, it supports unlimited multiple profiles per character as well as the option to auto switch between two specified profiles on spec change. I use multiple profiles per character, so I find this functionality very handy as it allows me to create very specialized setups for Arena, BGs, and specific PvE instances. Grid has similar functionality and can even be configured to auto-switch based on your group size or zone (check the profile tab).

Grid has a profile option as well. The problem though is you can't share the profile across accounts.

My solution is simply to copy the grid LUA files from the WTF/<main account name> to each of the slave accounts.

I do this for similar addons.

That way I only have to mess with things once.

I use a addon called Keyboard Layout Saver for keybinds. Also helps with multiple builds per character.

My Grid Custom Layout, works across teams.
Granted, I have it set to display the same 5x5 grid for everything.

Mostly that means one column only, as I solo (5-box) mostly.

1,2,3,4,5;5/5;NAME;NR

I have fifty odd names listed on the first line, covering every team of mine for both factions.

actionbarsaver lets you save and restore the contentt of your actionbars: i.e. which spell belongs to what slot
just /abs save elepvp
/abs save elepve
/abs restore elepvp
/abs restore elepve
...
bartender profiles let you save the layout of your actionbars, how small, how many slots, etc ..
you can easily configure it for one 'slave', and then copy it to the profile folder of the others

make sure to make a new profile when you going to change something, and then just do 'copy from profile'
giving your profiles clear names is almost a necessity if you don't want to fuck up sooner or later

You might look at reflux it it can sort of be a pain to set it up but works wonders with multiple mods with multiple profiles as it will set all of them at once. It also has a function that emulates profiles for any add ons that don't have profile support.
