Coming back to WoW, what three should I play?

So I quit WoW back in September or so. I had three Shamans that I had been playing (all elemental) and that was pretty fun. I would just do random heroics as all the DPS and it was nice and easy.

But now that I'm coming back I think I want to start up a mixed group. And I'd also like to try out the new Goblin starting area. My first thought was going with a Pally, Priest, Lock group but, of course, I forgot that Goblins don't get paladins. So I guess I could still do that, but I'd have to start my priest and lock separate from my paladin and then have them meet up at the appropriate level and I'm not really sure the best way to do that.

I don't really plan on running much instances or such. Mostly, I want to tri-box them to level up, do questing, grinding and farming, and then split them up to do dungeons and raids. I'm not really sure what combination would be best for that, especially since Cata was released while I was gone. I gotta learn how to play all over again.

For various reasons, I'm not actually starting for probably another couple weeks so I'll have some time to poke around these forums and see how much multiboxing stuff changed in cata.

Since you're going to split them up at level 85 anyway, maybe a hunter with the priest + lock. The hunter's tanking pet works very well for leveling up, even when/if he loses ago, it no longer matters since the mob will die before getting to your group. The lock's voidwalker "should" be as good for a tanking pet, but for some reason, just isn't. (too slow).

Even at 85, my hunter's basic bear pet that he's had like forever, works fine. I've enjoyed the survival spec long before it was the flavor or the moment, and see no need for the special beastmaster pets for leveling. For raiding, you might want to dual spec for those special pets.

With this group, led by the hunter, you'll rarely need the priest to heal, so mostly DPS with the priest. With no mage in the group to rip ago off the bear, this group should be able to blast through the levels very quickly! (Arcane mages my not be overpowered while leveling, but they sure "seem" so compared to my other toons while leveling (like usually nearly double the DPS), and insanely easy to macro!)
