Right so I have purchased keyclone for my main gaming machine and did some testing with my lvl 70 warrior and hunter. I figured out how i want to use the program and i have an idea in my head on how i am going to achieve this... I just have a few questions!

I am ultimatly going for end game 5man PVE instances.

The setup I am concidering is:

Prot paladin (v.good aoe tankage and can supply my group with buff's)

Priest healer (great aoe healing)

3x shaman (good out right dps)

Now on the setup side I am still unsure on my dps choice..... I am torn between shamans and mages

Shamans can supply me with:

Healingstream totem

Mana regen totem

Tremor totem

dps totem

Bloodlust

Mages can supply me with:

food/water

AOE dmg

3x sheep

INT

I think I will have to think long and hard about my dps choice...

Any way back to my other questions.

In my mind I am going to have my tank as the main (being controlled by myself) - And daisey chain my dps following me then the prist following the last dps.

So it looks like this on the follow pattern - Tank in the lead < dps1 < dps2 < dps3 < healer

This way my healer is furthest away from the dmg but still in range to heal - I will be issuing the commands from my main to all 4 alts so there wont be any issue with added latency.

I plan to ultimatly have 4 other machines running my 4 alts... BUT i will not have them hooked upto monitors nor will I have any keyboard / mouse installed on them - I will be using remote desktop connection to do any maintenance on the actual machine - Thought on this?

What do you think of the group setup.

What do you think of my follow pattern.

I did have more questions but have forgotten them when i went off on a mass typing spree :)

Thanks.

One thing, your daisy chain wont work in certain areas and especially in instances. Instances in TBC are small and cramped and daisy chain will get hooked up. Its is far better to have them all follow your main and then use a spread out feature to get the spacing if you need it.

As for your set-up, shammies or mages are good. You have listed your own bonuses so I wont say anything about them. Mages will do a bit more damage than the shammies but they have a few things that will up your damage of your entire grp and will benefit more of the group than the mages will. Besides the agro management might be easier with the shammies then mages. However the mages do provide you with some very good CC.

Why not level both up? :P

Overall the idea and concept is good but daisy chaining wont work in some areas. Besides, I don't see why you would need it anyways.

thanks for the feed back on the daisy chain. I will change that...

How can i go about "then use a spread out feature to get the spacing if you need it" ?

Thanks.

Bind a specific key on the 4 alts to correspond to move forward, move backward, strafe left, strafe right. That way, when you press this one key, the 4 alts unfollow the main and move in their corresponding direction. AutoHotKey requires a little script editing to work for holding down a key instead of acting on just the keypress. Be careful about doing anything automated from one keypress though - like press X key once, and 4 alts begin moving, then two stop after a set amount of time, and two more stop after a little more time. Although essentially not doing anything extreme as far as automation(botting), it is stepping across the line.

FYI 5 man Shamans did Uldaman yesterday for the first time. I thought I was going to have problems but luckily having experienced earlier instances made for a good run. You definitely want to use certain totems to 'draw fire' because of the sometimes large pulls you will have. But at level 43 going in was not a problem for Uldaman (44 going out). I lost 4 men to one of the bosses but managed to rez them all with the one left. 8) Theres that one large room where theres a bunch of statues surrounding him. :D Just concentrated on taking him and not worrying about all of the mobs hitting my group. Once he was down the statues all vanished leaving me alone with my one man left standing. w00t.

FYI guys...speaking for the rest of us multiboxers...being able to run instances without having to listen to people griping about your DPS makes for a great day. If you wipe, you have only yourself to blame and not others.

Whatever group you decide to put together wont matter because if you dont like what you have you can always start over. w00t.

Yeah I love this aspect. I can't believe how many whispers I get from random people asking to join my group. Can they not see I already have 5? :)
