Good Disc Priest Healing 2 step macro?

Well heres mine, It works fine, downside is its sucks mana fast. Should I split the heals up more between the 2 step buttons or put the heals in a different order?

First one,

/stopmacro [channeling]
/use 13
/use 14
/castsequence reset=combat/5 [target=targettarget] Penance, Prayer of Mending, Binding Heal, Flash Heal
/cast Smite

Second one,

/castsequence reset=combat [target=targettarget] Power Word: Shield

Ive tried removing some of the spells, but I end up going down alot faster than the other spells can compensate for. Still wearing mostly quest qreens and some blues at 84.

I wouldn't use Flash Heal. Heal is your main healing spell now. It's much more mana efficient. I would also recommend taking Smite out. Let your healer just heal. You don't have nearly as much control with macro healing, as opposed to region healing. Have you considered that?

I have PW:S, Shadowfiend on my 2 step macro button.

Yep Ive used it some, kinda just living with Macro based until I get a mouse with the multiple hotkeys on it. Thx for the info! :)

Oh, and I have smite in there not really for the DPS but for the healing it gives now.

Be wary of putting long cooldowns in a short sequence, you might get stuck.

I think Divine Aegis negates PW:S.

I almost never see the Weaken Soul debuff. If so I am replacing it with Penance.

I've not actually boxed a 5 man team with a disc healer since wotlk, but Disc overall is quite broken atm. They've completely contradicted the entire "Prevent / Absorb Damage" that made Disc so unique and powerful. You get punished for throwing fast heals and shields around. They did buff Atonement's range, which makes it much more useful (5 yards VS 15 yards iirc) but in comparison with Holy, you're likely much better off with Holy @ 85. I raided, pvp'd as a Disc priest from Feb to Cata launch, and I'm currently running Holy because it's much more forgiving.

I second svpernova. Our (very experienced) wotlk disc priest in the guild refuses to level his toon (quoting him) "until blizzard fixes the spec". That being said, for pvp I run a disc in combination with 4 dks and I intend to stick with the disc spec, but rather than bg's I have no real plans with the team.

I am staying disc since I cannot seem to figure out how to set up the holy word: serenity on vuhdu. Yes I have done what it was written on the possible solution of making a macro, and placing the spell itself on the hotkey. It never worked for me, eighther sais the spell is unavailable or something around that.
